Is The Gamestop Witcher 3 Price Drop to $30 permanent?

http://www.gamestop.com/weeklyad

In their ad, they have it listed as a price drop and not a sale, so I am curious if it is permanent.

I was iffy about the digital copy, but with all the stuff you get in the box at this price.. I might just pull the trigger if it's still there in a week.

I don't think its permanent. Since every other store still has it for $40 or $50. If you played witcher 2 and liked it. You will like witcher 3. If you haven't played it, then you may want to fire up 2 since its cheap for 360 (also was a games with gold game).

For me I bought it at launch and sold it soon after. It just wasn't a game I enjoyed. I don't have the time to put into RPG/adventure games anymore.

See, I've heard Witcher 3 fixes all the problems I had with 2.. I hated 2 because of the 6th sense you needed.

You always had to be buffed, with your potions drank and traps at the ready or you die instantly. Which was a pain in the ass when you could get randomly ambushed... and bam one or two hit killed.

I've heard 3's combat is much more fluid and action oriented without as much methodical planning needed, where you can go in and fight on the fly closer to the Arkham and Assassin's series.

I still have the limited run box for Witcher 2 on 360, along with the digital gold copy but... didn't like the game after a few hours in due to just how weak you were and how much you always, and I mean always, had to have everything planned ahead or you were dead.

Witcher 3 is a lot more action oriented. Similar to the way that mass effect 1 was more rpg then a shooter. But 2 was more shooter than rpg. If that makes sense.

Let's face it, there's probably a GOTY version coming soon ... this is probably the start of some retailers trying to get the vanilla edition off their shelves.
