Is there A Courage the cowardly Dog box set?

I used to love watching that show so is there an official box set out?

Nope. Cartoon Network seems quite adversive to putting out season sets of their original shows. The only Courage you'll be able to get on DVD are on compilation disks, which also include other shows.

While CN ususally doesn't release season sets it looks like they may start. Edd Ed n Eddy recently got a season boxset, so if that sells well maybe we'll get season sets for some of the better CN shows (I must admit that I'm a fan of Foster's).

There are bootleg sets floating about that are pretty good quality... that might be the ONLY way to go for now...

I loved Courage the Cowardly Dog. Really, I love most of the original CN/Cartoon Cartoon shows from back in the day, except for the really stupid ones like Ed, Edd, and Eddy. I loved Mike Lu & Ogg and Sheep in the Big City.

I used to love Courage the Cowardly Dog and Mike Lu & Og. I have my 45 minute cartoon schedule every morning. Mike Lu & Og is on at 9 AM on Boomerang, and sometimes, Courage is on the Cartoon Cartoon show at 9:30.

I miss Cow and Chicken and Dexter's Laboratory.

Those were (IMO) the only two CN shows that were worth a damn from that age, and boy were they magnificent.

Both excellent shows that fully deserve DVD releases

Definately. Though its nice that both shows are still on Boomerang/Cartoon Network on demand.

Boomerang just did a 24 hour marathon of Dexter a few weeks back. That was a trip down memory lane, except for that travesty of a new version that had neither main creators, art directors, nor the VA for Dexter...

Wouldnt mind seeing Dexter get a full dvd release. I'm still trying to hunt down the banned episode (where Dee Dee says c*nt - among other 4 letter words), it was supposed to air on Adult Swim, but that never went through apparently.

But yea, Courage, Cow & Chicken, Dexter, Sheep in the Big City (i had completely forgotten about this show til someone above mentioned it), all deserve full dvd releases.
