I'm not asking for myself but for my uncle. He's been reading the paper for as long as I can remember but he's recently said he'll have to cancel if he can't get it for cheaper. Does anyone know of a way to do so?

Just call them and ask what discounts they offer in the way of subscriptions. They used to call me all the time offering discounts on it till i told them look i wouldn't take your paper if you payed me to. They stopped calling then... good luck.

Just like any business if your willing to pay it they are willing to take your money so just dont let it seem like they have a choice. like I would like to get a sub for a friends uncle or whatever but theres no way I could pay full price. Do you offer subscriptions at 50 cents,75 1.0 a issue or whatever your looking for.

dont forget with newspapers the majority of there money comes with advertisers your fee is mostly for the delivery boy or girl 25-50 cents

I doubt there will be any discounts for paying subscribers but I'll them him to give them some sort of ultimatum and see how that goes if he's really going to cancel soon.
