Is this a good HDTV for the money?

I'm currently looking for an HDTV with full 1080p that's at least 40". Walmart is selling this model this Saturday as a special sale for $498.

Is this a pretty good deal, or should I wait until Black Friday or after Christmas?

Its not a bad price.

You will get better prices at black Friday, but there are swarms of people and all those headaches to deal with.

Its a basic LCD, its going to look fine. If I was looking for a cheap lcd, I personally would skip the black friday hassle. The extra cash spent on this tv is worth not sleeping outside bestbuy or skipping thanksgiving.

Yea, I'm definitely not fighting lines on Black Friday. My only hope is/was for a good online sale (possibly in store pick-up if I was super lucky). My limit is about $600, so I might just wait and see what kind of sales there are. This is a pretty tempting deal though.
