This PayPal® payment has been deducted from the buyer's account, your money is in our possession and has been "APPROVED" but will remain ***** until the shipment tracking number is send to our customers service for shipment verification, This measure is taken in order to protect both sellers and buyers interest and to reduce the occurrence of fraudulent activities, send the shipment tracking number to our customer care service at ([email protected]) for shipment verification, if you have any question feel free via replying us."

Is this legit Paypal? Because I can't find anything about this seller. The seller has Zero feedback on eBay and they just created their account today. I need to know before I ship it out. The money isn't showing up in my Paypal account. I'm thinking that this is a scam!

Did you actually have something for sale on ebay?

That was the same thing I was thinking. Was it a buy now? Tell us the item number.

First off, if you didn't have anything for sale, then it is obviously a scam.

Also, I have completed over 400 transactions on Ebay, and I have never seen anything on paypal that requires you to send in a tracking number before the payment goes out of pending. This is obviously a scam. No item number listed in the email?

Just check your paypal though to be certain...but DO NOT ship the item until the payment exists pending (if you in fact did sell something). The second the person sees that the item has been shipped, they will reverse the payment and you will be out of the money and an item.

If you did sell something and you were expecting this payment, definitely send this information to Ebay and Paypal for your protection. It will at least help protect you against a negative, and they will be able to tell you for certain whether this is legit (which I guarantee is not!)

Yes, I sold a Xbox 360 with 20 games for $350, and they asked for 70 dollars priority mail shipping! I'm gonna forward the email to them.

WTF do you think, of course it's a scam. Don't send anything out to them.
Are legitimate messages from eBay and/or PayPal full of grammatical, punctuation, and spelling errors?

Alright, I figured that out. I just wanted to double check and see if anyone has ever heard of this scam. I contacted eBay. I also noticed all the errors in the text :p

I should totally send them a thank you card saying "Thank you for attempting to scam me, it failed miserably!" but I'd have to give out my address, and that ain't happening :p

Contacted Paypal. Watch out for this scam. I'm sure there's many more people who plan on trying this to people like me!

Somewhat broken English, and is that the ACTUAL address listed in the original e-mail? (@emailaccount.com)

This is dirty, I have to say. I've had experience with numerous scams, and given all the info you've presented, I'd say GTFO of this situation.

EDIT: I was writing this while those last two messages were posted.
