Is this an underground WLA movement or a site feature?

I've rolled my mouse over a couple links in a few threads and it seems to lead to Wombat's page profile. Is this an underground WLA movement, clever user trickery, or some sort of weird ass site feature for bad links? It also happens on one "Show Spoiler" button in a particular thread.
