this was 80 bucks at 7am, i added it to my cart and started to check out and it was yanked from my cart and a minute later it was 160 again.

edit, i guess this is one of those times the 'one click purchasing' really benefits buyers, i wont do that because i think it creates too much impulse buying crap that i dont need or wont use simply because its cheap

Yea, thats what happens when the amount of items are very limited or there are a million people trying to get the same item.
 
meh thats what i figured. i may have to turn on the one click shopping if i want to get a crazy deal on a tv at amazon.

Same thing happened to me I waited for the deal to become live and went and checked the features for a minute or two went back to finish my order and it was gone already.
