Is Wind Waker worth finishing?

I never finished Wind Waker. I've been meaning to dust it off before Twilight Princess comes out.

I didn't finish Majora's Mask, either, as it sucked. :[

Exactly the same thing for me. I stopped playing Wind Waker because i'm tired of doing that little wand thing and directing the wind. Then i turn in the direction. Then i turn off my wavebird for what seems 5 hours and when i turn it back on i see i still haven't reached my destination.

and MM i didn't like because of that 3 day crap.

Majora's Mask was pretty good, yeah the 3 day time period was a little annoying at first, but with the song of inverted time you get used to it eventually. The sidequests that came from the 3 day intervals were awesome, and mask collecting was fun.

this game is great, get past the graphics and enjoy it, getting the triforce peices pissed me off but after i got it done just finishing the game seems like i accomplished something, the dungeons are good in this game too, i even collected all the figurines with my first play through, i love the zelda series(only games i force myself to finish) and using enemies weapons was a nice feature, ganon was also harder than in ocarina of time

and u cant get the ballad of gales that early in the game, u need the bow and arrow 1st and that doesnt come very soon(if i remember correctly)
you must be korean
No I am American, I just Had nothing to do that day and I was busy for the next month, So I just wanted to finish it

Yeah, go on and finish it. You bought it, it's a zelda game and it's good.. what more can you ask for? It's good stuff.
I stopped at the triforce piece collecting part and never looked back.
Same here. Tingle is a twisted homosexual...

Wind Waker has a good final boss fight and ending. I think it's somewhat overrated, but still good and worth owning if you have a Gamecube.
I finished Wind Waker recently with the help of a guide. I think it's worth it to finish it. Once you find all 8 triforce maps and assemble all the triforce pieces, the game pick up again and you have to fight several 'incarnations' of Ganon. The ending is very satisfying.

Also, once you finish the game once, the game will create a new game file so if you ever play the game again, you get the Deluxe Picto Box at the beginning of the game. It's useful to have Deluxe Picto Box at the beginning of the game if you want to get all the statues in the Nintendo Gallery.
I broke down and used a guide myself . . . helped me get through the sailing parts and to stay focused on tasks.

I really enjoyed it. But honestly wouldn't have finished without the guide.

There are some incredible tedious moments, but Zelda does save itself from falling into a pit in most cases. Boss fights are pretty clean and fun, ESPECIALLY THE LAST ONE! Although this is true, it still doesn't take away the fact that sailing can be tiresome and the fetch quests are numerous. The game was actually pretty annoying because it was pretty unforgiving if you made a little mistake in some platform jumping or puzzle. I played Ocarina of Time after Wind Waker, and found it to be a vastly superior game to Wind Waker in almost every way.

Yeah, Ocarina of Time > Wind Waker, although WW is still a rather good game. I enjoyed Majora's Mask more too, although that's a game people either love or hate.

It's a good game, and sailing goes by fast if you have the slightest concept on how to sail. Stop complaining about the sailing, really. You're given a song that makes sailing easier, what's your problem. Get Soul Cailbur II if you want fast-paced action.

For me, the incentive of almost completing the game is enough to finish. You've gone far, so why not finish it? Don't ask us, our opinions vary.

The sailing minigames and exploration were fun. The Triforce collecting wasn't even an issue unless you ignored the expanded rupee pouches and wasted rupees on tons of needless shop items. I didn't have to do any rupee farming to pay for the Triforce map translations and gathering them took maybe an hour.

I've done more tedious things with a solid hour in JRPG's before, so fetching some Triforce shards wasn't a big deal. I think some of you guys missed out on one of the greatest game endings because of something minor that you blew up to massive proportions in your own imagination.
