Is www.Buyrite.net reliable?
Does this question get asked every 2 weeks?
Apparently so. Seems like the "search function" is also broken...or people are just too lazy to look for it.
What do they do, not send you the game that you want and just take your money?
yep

Their main store is less than a mile from my house and no one I know ever goes in there. The used bookstore does a much better business in the same shopping center.

I did do a search for buyright.net and I only got 2 results which were just some jokes about the company. It's not that I'm lazy, I was just wondering because I couldn't find anything when I DID a search.

Thanks anyways guys.

I wish we could make some sort of buyrite is a scam site sticky, not that anyone ever reads stickies but we get these what twice a week.
I know a guy that bought from there like 4 years ago and had no problem.
The problem is that some people get their stuff and others pay and get nothing, its like a casino except there your an idiot if you think your only going to win.

Back when the GBA first came out, I imported one through them. I ordered a purple one, and got a white one instead. And it took over two months.

you may laugh, but over the years, ive bought over a dozen times from buyrite1.com and never once had a problem. They charge a lot for shipping, and some of their phone reps are rude, but I have never been ripped or anything.

And how does that differ from a casino?

It would be cool if we put a link their banner in coupons/bargain bins/ weekly ads, but had it link to a PWNED!!!!! page, but I don't know if that could get the site in trouble.

That bookstore has better deals than Buy-Rite anyway. I use to shop at BR when their only location was at a Flea Market and back then they were great(SNES/early PS1 days). In the last 4-5 years their online and offline stores have gone straight to hell. I wouldn't suggest that anyone do business with them anymore.

I got a PS2 B&M for about $20 less than retail at their B&M, and it took em about 30 minutes to bring it out of the back?????

Last time I went there. I did get some good stuff back when they were at the Flea Market, and they were reasonable it seemed then.

What do they offer that you want to buy?

If you want domestic games, use the cag-o-matic to check prices; use froogle.

If you want imports, use www.ncsx.com or www.therage.com , www.japanvideogames.com is also reliable, but expensive.

If you're looking for rare, collectible games, use half.com or eBay. Far too many people have been burned by buyrite about the condition of the games they have ordered.

I agree with what many have said here; if you order from them, rest assured, you will not be able to get your money back under any circumstances (and you may not get what you ordered; if you do, it may not be in the condition you thought it would be in).

myke.

I have gotten so many deals at Ed McKay over the past couple of months.

Great store IMO

You must be the reason that, on the rare occasions I go there, I only walk out with books.
