Do you think that the state of Israel should exsist?
My opinion is no. Black slaves suffered and were killed but did not recieve a country. I think that treating one group of people special is wrong. Just curious on your opinion

P.S. I am not an anti-semite[/quote]

You may not be anti-semite, but based on the last two threads you just made. You're extraordinarily ignorant (but probably an average American). To prevent my head from exploding, I'm going to break this down line by line:

Do you think that the state of Israel should exsist?

Yes, everyone in this world has a right to exist, practice whatever they believe, as long as they aren't bothering others. In the case that there are those that fail to leave others alone, you deal with them as individuals, not as a whole (we call that "prejudice" in this country).

My opinion is no.

Good for you.

Black slaves suffered and were killed but did not recieve a country.

Yes they did, they were allowed to become American citizens. America is their country, and I'm pretty sure we left them Africa, hence the term "African-American". I know Africa is not a country, but is used as a general term in the same manner that we do not call a black man in Nevada a "African-Nevadian".

I think that treating one group of people special is wrong.

Sounds like a good start, but this very much sounds like the beginning of an assimilation argument, in that treating one group special is wrong because they aren't us, and therefore inferior.

Just curious on your opinion

Here's some advice, since you sound like a small kid looking to stir debate on a few topics you seem to know nothing about.

To start, don't form an opinion until you've done all your research. Gay Rights, Abortion, and Foreign Policy are NOT Black and White issues, or Right and Wrong issues. There is a very large shade of grey throughout them all, and it's different for everyone. Simply put, compromise is a necessity on all of them, and a lack thereof leads only to more fighting and bickering, sometimes to the level of violence.

So, how might you help compromise and not aid ignorance and fighting? Do your research first, form your opinion second, and never, ever, let your opinion become a weapon or mantra for fighting.

You have a right as a human being to live and believe in any manner you so choose.

You do NOT have a right to enforce it on anyone else. Be grateful some of them are willing to coexist, and though there are those that are unwilling, you don't need to become one of them, and fuel an ever-growing plague of ignorance and the rejection of ideals, morals, and faiths.

I am anti-Israel (not anti-Jewish) because Israel is anti-Palestine. I hate all Jewish, Christian and Muslim religious zealots.

yes cause every Israeli including the arab ones are anti-Palestine. I love generalizations, they are so general. Though I am anti-fools cause they do foolish things. People want peace, there are idiots on both sides that would rather keep fighting and a country can only stand by so long while they are constantly attacked by a foreign other. I would like to see any other Amer-Euro-Asian take a constant bombardment of rockets only to not retaliate.

Speak for yourself!

I am very much pro-Israel. I think it's crucial for the US to have at least one stalwart western democracy in that region, especially one with one of the best militaries in the world. I also think that it's important to have a peaceful (for the most part) stable nation to house Jerusalem, which is the holiest place on earth for the Christians, Jews, and Muslims.

I can conceed that "yes", it was created after WWII and wasn't a nation before that, but so what! That is what happens to international borders after wars, nations get broken up or created by the victors. There is nothing normatively "wrong" about this, it is what it is.

We're all in agreement that we're going to ignore semi-trolling that doesn't really meet the standard for a reasonable level of debate, yes? So ... maybe we could actually ignore it then, because the "This is a poor topic. And anyway, go Israel" posts are making me, as self-appointed "This is a poor topic. And anyway, boo hiss Israel" guy, want to post and make this into a "real" thread, so ...

Do you even know how many human rights laws Israel has violated. As for your argument of the stability of Jerusalem, I agree that it needs safe hands, but why does it need to be under Jewish hands and not everybody's hands.

Israel is not a stalwart democracy. Arabs born in Israel are not allowed to vote.

I really did not know where to start from so I started very simply. For the treating a group of people special argument, I am by no way saying they are inferior to us. We are treating them in a such a special way, but nobody else. I do not think a country should be formed for a special group of people. I believe that Israel does not have the right to exsist because it was not there land orgianally, and they took it from the people living there. They have performed countless human rights violations against the arabs living there.

1. According to the bible it was their land originally.
2. If I had rockets and numerous other things being shot at me by a group of people all day, I don't think I would be too friendly to them.

They better be careful lest the Canaanites come, Bible in hand, with their claim too.
