Isreal has a announced a plan to launch nuclear tipped bunker buster bombs onto Iran's nuclear facilities. They are planning to target several key facilities including a uranium enrichment plant and a heavy water reactor. The strike would go down simialtaneously and at as of now an undisclosed time if it is given a green light.

My personal view is that Isreal is out of there frickin minds by doing this. Even if it cripples Iran from striking anywhere it will piss off about every other islamic country in the region. Also it will hard for the US or the UK to support a country that did a preemptive strike like that.

So what do guys think?
 
Good for Israel, they are always the ones getting attacked so it's nice to see them attacking first for once. Of course, every media outlet is going to criticize Israel for this

Actually Isreal has done many pre-emptive strikes (Lebanon, Iraq). When you're surrounded by enemies that believe you have no right to exist, I think it's eminently reasonable.
 
First off, the story's bullshit. The conservative British press has been writing op-eds on this for the last few weeks, hoping Israel would do it, they most likely took the opeds to an Israeli official who said, "We might consider it, I dunno." and the Times ran with it.

Second, theoretically, those of you saying that it'd be justified realize that Israel threatening a nuclear first strike makes them as guilty as Iran, right? More so even as they already have the ability to carry it out.

And I think Irael should strike first, they did in Iraq and several other places. But using nukes to do it is slightly over the top. I see it likely that they will in the future, but not with nukes. The problem is the Israeli leader is a dumbass who doesn't want to be the leader anymore.

If Israel has atomic weapons, wouldn't they have standard plans for nuclear attacks on all their "enemies"? Doesn't the USA?

Would it be better off if they just decided to "wing it" should the nukes start flying?

First of all Wikinews didn't run it first, Second weither it was BS or not it is still interesting to see if Isreal does do this.

I think they will be because Isreal never bluffs and when they say something they mean it.
 
It would be interesting if the USA nuked China to win the Korean War. A lot of things are interested and it doesn't make them any less bullshited or lame.
 
Well at least someone is stepping up to the plate besides the US, now if only we could convince N. Korea to fight Iran....
 
To all you retards who already didnt know, Israel is basically the USA.
We run that country and tell them what to do.
So you could basically say that the US is getting ready to launch that missle.
