IT Returns. Meijers BUy 1 19.99 game get 1 free 12/9 ONLY

Interesting. Is it in the weekly ad? Strange that it's only 1 day, but I had a couple of games that I missed out on picking up last time, so this is a good opportunity.

EDIT: My Meijer still has Non-GH copies of games like Shadow of the Colossus, so I'll probably be picking up several things tomorrow. Thanks OP.

I blew around 100 last time i doubt i spend more then 40 this time since everyone sees it most stuff will be long gone by the time i get there 3pm tomorrow

just blew 120 bucks on 100 buck gift code + 1 year of prime on amazon so im not buying nothing

Though i will take it to best buy to see if they match (FINGERS cROSSED)
 
Just went to the Meijer in Plainfield, and got Socom 3 and Call of Duty 2 BR1.
There were 3 games they had alot of GTA Liberty City Stories(PS2), Grand Turisimo 4, and Battefield 2 Mordern Combat(PS2), there also some Gun, Socom 3, and Fifa and Tiger Woods games for the 360.

It works on accessories as well.


Last week when they were doing it, I went to all the nearby meijer stores and cleared them out of Wii points cards and nunchucks and classic controllers.

Anything game related thats 19.99 should qualify.

Holy shit! I was just there and I need play and charge kits for the 360!
 
Last time I was there my Meijer still had nothing but empty shelves where the Wii accessories were supposed to be, but I guess it's worth a try.

I went to Meijer a second time today to check on this. I had the guy scan two GameCube controllers, both at 19.99. The deal did not ring up. Maybe the promo is different this time.

EDIT: Just called (courtesy of Skype), they said it's only good on videogames, I asked specifically about the Marketplace Points card, no dice. Apparently you were able to get away with it. More power to you.
 
Mine didn't have any Wii points cards, but it sounds like it wouldn't have mattered. I did manage to pick up Cooking Mama and Yoshi's Island (GBA). Strangely the deal didn't automatically appear in the computer. The guy had to do an override.
 
I know it's kinda late to be posting this, but TODAY ONLY, Meijer is also running a SPEND $100 GET $20 IN FREE GAS Promotion. Basically, you spend over $100, they give you a coupon for $2 off a gallon of gas, up to 10 gallons.

BUT CHECK THIS SHIT OUT...

I also found a neat little glitch to go along with this: Say you buy 6 $19.99 games, B1G1, you pay $60+tax. HOWEVER, the computer only pays attention to the retail prices and doesn't take into consideration the free games and therefore prints out the free gas coupon since it thinks that you spent $120. So basically you can get 6 $19.99 games AND $20 in free gas all for $60+tax!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hopefully some of you late night shoppers can get in on this! This might be the deal of the year!!!

Took advantage of it more times than you can possibly imagine.

I would have posted it earlier but I've put in about 12 hours and 15 meijer stores today...
 
I got the free gas at 2 different Meijers today too. Used one of my coupons today and I will use one at the end of the week. (Coupon good 12/9-12/16) Got Just over 10 Gallons of gas for $3.00!!!
 
Didn't know about the gas deal, but my Meijer didn't have enough worthy 19.99 things to take advantage of on this sweet deal.

Left with Cooking Mama and Advance Wars DS though, for 20 dollars and some change. Not bad Meijer!
 
No Wii points cards at 3 different Meijer, so couldn't test this.

I wish Meijer would get the newest Player's Choice GBA games (I want SMA2) and would lower TMNT3 for GC to $20 like every other store. :cry:
 
I know that the deal is dead, but I received some good news from a helpful Meijer employee today. He said that this sale will most likely return at least two more times before christmas, so keep a look out.
 
My Meijer has been picked to the bone already, so unless they restock I don't see much of a point of running this sale again. Regardless I was able to grab a copy of Armed and Dangerous and Sega Classic Collection ... not bad for $7 a pop, its cheaper than renting.
