It was a hot June day, and my ass was sticking to the seat of the SOTM

I've been listening to a ton of alternative hip-hop, electronica and trip-hop on shuffle.

Listening to some DJ Krush right now.

Think I should check his stuff out?

I'm listening to Internal Affairs(album) by Pharoahe Monch, by the way.

Oh man, you've never checked out DJ Krush before? Dude is fucking awesome. Check out Meiso, Jaku, Kakusei, The Message At The Depth, Zen and the self remix albums. And after you check him out, grab DJ Cam, DJ Spooky and then DJ Food.

oops, I'm listening to Nicolay - Dutch Masters Vol. 1 (album)

Jaku is an amazing album.

LCD Soundsystem - LCD Soundsystem (album)

Mr. J. Medeiros - Of Gods And Girls (album)

Its the solo project from one of the guys in The Procussions and its fucking dope as shit. People need to check it out.

I agree. That and The Message At The Depth are my two favorite albums from him (though to be honest, I find all of his albums dope as shit)

Definitely.

His album Zen is the stuff of dreams.

I'll have to get that next. I'm going to try out Kakusei today to see if I'm into it all or not. Hope I am.

Zero 7 - Futures(album)....well most of it.

Dunno if anyone caught me posting about the album from Kurious called A Constipated Monkey being one of the greatest unknown hip hop albums from the 90's but here is my favorite unknown album of all-time

Da King And I - Contemporary Jeep Music

You get songs with the Beatnuts and Funkdoobiest. Plus the song Tears is still one of the greatest songs of all-time (and if you dig hip hop, its a must listen). It took me 6 hours and 10 minutes to grab it but its well worth it as its an album I've been looking for the last 13 years to replace my scratched cd. Now if only I could find a replacement for my Boogie Monsters "Riders Of The Storm" bootleg tape.

Stiill getting used to it... he never did quite pull a Reasonable Doubt again...

Cat Stevens - Footsteps in the Dark (album)

Nine Inch Nails - With Teeth (album)

The Jesus and Mary Chain - 21 Singles (album)

Onesidezero - Is This Room Getting Smaller? (album)

A Perfect Circle - Mer de Noms (album)

Armor for Sleep - What To Do When You're Dead (Album)

1090 Club/The Forecast Split EP (Whole Album)

Listened to those after a tidy 65 minute drive home from work, in THE STORM OF THE CENTURY (not this).
