Its been leaked! Kanye's latest album "Graduation" is on the interwebz.
Screw all the haters, I think this album is great. Definitely better than Late Registration. 50 Cent's album also leaked yesterday.
qft i like this album a lot. So far Flashing lights
i wonder and everything i am are on repeat status

Damn Brak, you've stated your opinion at least five different times. You hate Kanye, I'm sure everyone reading the thread got that from your first post. We all get it.

I'm not defending Kanye, as I only sorta liked his first affair, and only liked ONE whole track from his second CD (which was a giant steaming pile of shit IMO). However, I'm not going to waste most of my day repeating my opinion over and over (and over) again.
I need you to hurry up now
cause I can't wait much longer
I know I got to be right now
Cause I can't get much wronger
Man I've been waitin' all night now

Let's get lost tonight
You could be my black Kate Moss tonight
Play secretary, I'm the boss tonight

Damn, they don't make 'em like this anymore
I ask, cause I'm not sure
Do anybody make real shit anymore?

That I would even show up to this fake shit
So go ahead go nuts go ape shit
Especially on my best stand on my bape shit

I don't know if you got a man or not,
If you made plans or not
God put me in the plans or not

So how the hell could you front on me?
There's a thousand you's, there's only one of me

You know how long I've been on ya?
Since Prince was on Apollonia
Since OJ had Isotoners
Don't act like I never told ya

True lyricists rhyme words with the same word... 18,000 times in one song.
Since when are artists strictly limited to rhyming the last word in a line? That obviously wasn't Kanye's intention, and it's a shitty complaint. That's not to say that the lyrics don't suck, but for a completely different reason.

I actually like the song. "Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger" used to be in my sig. He took one of my favorite songs and gave it actual (albiet shitty) lyrics.

Never said they were limited to the last word in the line... I was displaying how he must think that.

Kanye West rhymes the last word with the same word more than Fred Durst.
Hell, I still enjoy Ice Cube and he's a fucking huge movie star now
:rofl::rofl::rofl:
So you must have been the one who watched such hits as Are We There Yet and XXX: State of the Union.

I'll admit to enjoying a couple of the Friday movies and Barbershop but no way would I call him a fucking huge movie star.
Kanye took a great song in "Stronger" and made it better - and this is coming from a Daft Punk fan.
The only correct aspect of this sentence you've constructed here is the period at the end.

I was unbelievably disappointed the first time I heard "Can't Tell Me Nothing," never mind hearing all of Graduation. Just so you know, this is coming from someone who loved College Dropout and Late Registration. I am well aware that he's not a great lyricist and his production is becoming tired now, too, but on this two albums, he seemed to just know what he was doing.

He was one of the only mainstream rappers I actually liked. As I wrote, his first two efforts were good in their own rights. His debut showed promise from a guy who seemed hungry and wanted to make a name for himself. Late Registration was a complete departure from that and showed that he could experiment, with a shitload of help from Jon Brion. Now, on Graduation, Ye's trying to do something different again, but with very minimal success.

I have to go eat now but I might continue this later.

Man you are the only one making me second guess myself because your taste in music but I will still buy it when it drops.
  :applause:
Please tell me your not being sarcastic, because if you actually listened to Rich Boy's cd it's some good shit. "Throw Some D's" isn't even the top 5 songs on that album.

I think a 13 year old could have come up with the same lyrics. Daft Punk version>Kanye West

Im not really suprised most of you don't like it. I just wanna see what you guys think of BAD mainstream hip hop, like Soulja Boy & Young Joc...........

Not even worth mentioning.

It's not like I direly needed more meaning to the song, it's just that it got kind of repetitive and boring after awhile.

Kanye album sucks for the most part. He should of stayed as just a producer, he can't flow for shit. The only 50 release I see is a clean version which is useless. Someone must of got the copy from Walmart.....fucking sucks.

Three Kings is a good movie, too.

Hows the 50 cent album? I hate the way he talks half the time and his beats usually suck.
Your phrase is redundant.
Tupac, Biggie, Wu Tang, they're all mainstream artists. Not all mainstream hip hop is bad. Mainstream hip hop of today is stuck in a " nigger do yo dance pop lock n drop it " rut. I blame the south.

Crunk + Hyphy = death.

Anyway, after looking over my post, I think I covered my thoughts pretty well. Only thing left to say is that I've only listened to Graduation once, while buzzed, and still didn't really feel it.

I was unimpressed and I enjoyed his last two albums. It just didn't feel like he was into it this time, like this was just business as usual.

Kanye saying he should be in the bible. Tomorrow, he's supposed to be getting exposed. I'm curious as to what they are going to show. Kanye goes crazy at the end of the vid:

QFT. The more I listen to that album, the better it gets.

I'm not a fan of this Kayne release. I actually had to track through "can't tell me nothing" because it was that bad.

What about Nas? He's probably one of the best rappers on the scene.

I thought "Stronger" was about as good as the song could have been given the concept of sampling daft punk and doing a sort of techno/trance thing in the rap genre, though, it's pretty evident it's not nearly as good as daft punk's version.

Yeah, forgot about Nas .
