Its OVER Frequent Shopper has shut down customer support is dead
For those saying the TOS does not forbid multiple accoutns for hte same address, check out this e-mail I got today. I do't know if I will get it or not. they never said definitely no but they did say it was not allowed...

The issue, after reviewing with our technical support team, is that there was a hold on your account for using multiple Live IDs when the TOS also state “You may not use more than one Windows Live™ ID to avoid restrictions or other limitations on Activities, credits, prizes or the Program.” We show multiple accounts shipping to the same address. So, between this hold and the backordered item, this is why your shipment is delayed.

The reason is, while they lifted the 1 prize per 6 months rule, having multiple accounts still allows you to get past the 100 ticket daily limit. So, it is still against the TOS. So be careful.
Thats stupid, why didn't I hear anything like this before I ordered my stuff.......

I wonder how many people were able to get by that.

It is kind of amusing on this and other boards when people get pissed that they got caught trying to scam the system for these free sort of deals. If you do not have relatives you can send stuff to, just be happy with your own free stuff or learn to make better friends with your neighbors.
well alot of people will be getting nothing cuz they ordered it all to one address unlike me diff addresses lulz
It doesn't necessarily mean that I am screwed, or that others are either. The e-mail I got yesterday still said I was getting one from the next batch that came in. and this does not say my order is cancelled, just delayed. So I don't know.

Plus, I ordered a wallet after the notice that the site was closing down. And I got that using the exact same address as my bed sheets. So my guess is, if they care at all, they really only care about the big prizes.

I don't know, I asked them before I even made the second account. They specifically told me it was ok to have multiple accounts. If they try to say something to me, then at least I have proof they've told me otherwise. I've also gotten everything delivered from both my accounts so I'm not too worried. Sorry they didn't let yours go through

Hey guys.well i emailed them asking:
Hello! I was wondering if it is okay to have more than 1 account on frequent shopper and if it is okay to ship all items from all accounts to one adress as long as it is less than 10 items or $500 in price for all items on all accounts total? Please get back to me! Thanks in advance.

got a reply like one or two days later saying:

Hi goku,

Go ahead with your orders. Technically, you shouldn't be using multiple accounts, but as long as the household stays within the limits ($500 per year, 10 prizes during the lifetime of the program), you will be fine.

Thanks,
MSN Shopping Frequent Shopper team

Also try to use different names, like relatives or roommates at your place.
Also try to use different variations to your address.
St. becomes street, 1st becomes First, W becomes West, or Apt. A1 becomes Apartment A 1.
Just a few examples, be creative.

You know, as least try to throw them off a little.
I would not doubt this to be true, but do you have a link/source for that?
I sent an email to them, and that's what they replied

I've got 1,400 right now...I'll probably just miss a 2,000 point prize. =/ Ah well, at least I'll be able to get a few 500 point ones.
has anyone received a kitchen aid mixer?
I would have had it today if I was home this afternoon. The package required a signature from someone at least 21 years old. Kinda weird.

Ordered: 12/31
Est. Ship Date: 2/25

So a couple days early.

hopefully mine comes soon to cause i ordered 1 on 12/27 with expected ship date of 2/21 and another ordered on 1/7 with expected ship date of 3/4. By the way did u order black?

I wasn't whining at all. I was just pointing out that people may want to be careful with addresses that they have ordered big ticket items and that the general consensus that hte new TOS allows multiple accounts to the same address is wrong.

I have no complaints with either FS or Clib Live. I wound up with a new computer, monitor, 32 inch LCD TV (from selling Office and Vista), 2 cameras, a Zune, XBox, Rock Band, camcorder) 4 wireles couse/keyboards foir myself or various people, and about $400 in cash left over from those sales from Club Live. And from this I got the bed sheets, countless candle sets for various people, the wallet which I really needed, and it sure looks like I AM going to get that GOS eventually. Plus I have ordered anotehr GPS, 2 Shuffles, a waffle iron, and countless 2000 and 500 ticket prizes...to various addresses. Whatever I get is fine with me.

I tried that with my GPS that got my account put on hold. I did use my same name, but put my full name. I also put my apartment as 1st Floor Apt 2 rather than Apt 312. And I spelled my city Binghampton with a P which is a common misspelling. Ironically, this got flagged while the wallet that I ordered to the exact same name and address did not. IT came within 10 days. Though it was a wallet and not an expensive GPS.

But like I said, it got put on hold, but hte e-mail I got yesterday says it was confirmed with the shipper than I will get one from the next shipment batch.

21 for a mixer? That is weird. A blender I could at least understand... sharper pieces, alcoholic beverages and you can apparently turn them into "adult entertainment", but mixers?

Yeah, that sucks. Hope it's a mistake. Otherwise I feel bad for anyone here in college who is only living with a bunch of 19-year-olds.

Does it include batteries and can you post the brand name of the candles so that I can look it up online for some reviews?

just got my water bottle, the camelbak one, it is red and bigger then i thought i think .75 liters.
anyway it is branded with "msn shopping frequenc shopper" aloong the side.
ordered on 1/29 rec.d 2/19

good luck all. :)

After missing the delivery yesterday, I received my mixer. It's amazing, a $300-350 item for free. I can't wait for my girlfriend to start making me stuff with it.

was it new or refurbed ?

I was the person who was going to be 60 points away from the 7500 point GPS. Ordered 3 360 controllers instead (2 right away after the program was announced to close, 1 last week after I got the points.)

The first 2 arrived today :) Took under 20 days to receive, I'm very happy with microsoft actually.

I'm annoyed that I still haven't received the one controller and I ordered before they announced they'd be closing this program. May have to email them about it. :/

Got my 10,000 point GPS yesterday. It's brand new and it's amazing. Totally worth every minute of play time at Frequent Shopper.

And now, I wait for my mouse and second Camelback bottle to round out my first account. I still haven't decided what to get from my second account, but I'm playing up to the 24th with that one, so I'll decide then.

I also haven't gotten my 360 controller yet either. I ordered a day or so after they said they'd be closing the program. I guess it'll come in a week or so.

2 of my controllers and my copy of Sneak King came in from Goozex today

I guess now all I got left to do is start saving up tickets on Club live until I got enough to get something nice

I so far ordered a controller and the Body glove sleeve in the last 2 weeks. Haven't received either yet. I'm up to 333 points right now and I am going to order 1 more 500 point item. Is the sleeve really cheap looking and cheaply made? Cause I was thinking another sleeve or the candles.

The laptop sleeve is actually really nice. Neoprene outside, layer of heavy rubber foam on the inside top and bottom. It's a snug fit for my 15.4" widescreen laptop, so if it's bigger than that (or much smaller), it won't be that great. Body Glove usually makes good quality products.
i just got a controller i ordered on jan 26
Good to know, I ordered on the 27th so hopefully it comes within the following week...

By the way, I ordered by 2 controllers Mon 1/26/09 7:54 PM and received both. My name is at the start of the alphabet, not sure if that makes a difference!
