Its OVER Frequent Shopper has shut down customer support is dead
I got Bargain Hunter to work in IE, but not FireFox 3.
Most of them are pretty easy.
It hasn't been working for me in IE or Firefox today, but it is in Chrome.

they keep making it harder for us to get points! if they keep this up i'll never be able to get that gps for 10k.

Bargain Hunter and Scavenger Hunt don't seem to work, so I'm 30 pts from maxing out my daily allotment.

Damn, at least I got my free 360 controller before the switch. I was hoping to get something else, but maybe I'll just cash out my 500 pts. Oops, just read that I can't get another item for another 5 months. WTF.

The bargain hunter is finally starting to work for me.

Also, I don't know if anyone else had something similar happen to them...
I ordered the 360 controller about a month ago and it deducted the correct amount of points. When I sign in the next day all my points were back. The only email I ever got was a confirmation that my order did in fact go through. So I figured I'd wait the full 6-8 weeks and see what happens before trying to order it again. So far it's been about 4 weeks.
Your math is a bit fuzzy there. You only get points for the first three puzzles you do. You don't have to do 12 puzzles to get 15 points.
So you still get 5 points a puzzle? When I clicked on my normal easy puzzle I received a message stating it was worth 1.25 points. Medium was 2.5 points. I'm just flat out confused. Maybe I'll try IE and see what happens. If I can get the other stuff working I will be less ticked off. As it stands, I'm definitely looking at seeing this one through.

I got that too, using Chrome. It was also weird in tha it was the new pictures, but unlike on IE, you had to slide the pieces over, like the old way, rather than just click on them to move i to the open spot.

Here is the funny part about that 1.25 puzzle...if you give up and let them solve it for you, you still get 2 points. So you are better off doing the "mashing the arrow keys" method to let tem solve it for you.

Sometimes, when you're at your cap, it will only give you as many points as it takes to get to 100. Say you play an easy puzzle and you already have 98 points for the day. It doesn't matter what puzzle you do, you still only get 2 points. But yeah, I've never seen decimals before, but that's the only thing I can think of.

Bargain Hunter was working for a while...now it's on the fritz again. I never knew binoculars could be so expensive.
The bargain hunter is finally starting to work for me.

Can someone maybe get a screen shot of it when they get it working? I've tried IE, Firefox, Chrome, nothing.
Bargain Hunter is still a no go for me.
What do you max out on EIAJ13?
And how does the points work out?
I'm honestly not sure what I max out at now. I get the 15 for the puzzle, whatever for the wheel, and now that bargain hunter started working that gives me 3 for each correct guess. I didn't try playing until it maxed-out. Get's boring, plus it was loading really slow.

The points for me or for the game?

For me I had at the time 2115 points, ordered the 360 controller, got the confirmation email and it deducted 2000 points leaving me with 115. I sign in the next day and I'm back up the 2115 with no email saying it didn't work.

For the Bargain Hunter game, you just click on what category you want (clothes, electronics, etc.) then they give you three items with prices and you have to guess which one is the biggest deal. Correct guess gets you 3 points. I'm not sure when it maxes out. Also I suppose you could look up their products and compare prices and shit, but I don't bother wasting time. I just guess. (With the clothes, it's usually the shoes that's the "deal")

I think I'm done here too. The only thing that works for me is the wheel and the hot list. Everything else is either painfully slow or broken. Plus they chose more difficult pictures for the puzzles (I just got a dude in a Hawaiian shirt and 7 of the 8 pieces looked exactly the same.)

I'm just spinning the wheel and doing coupons until they fix the rest of the site.I will continue to do it, but it will just take a little longer than I hoped.
You just right click as usual and submit coupons. Except now they maxed the limit to 30 credits a day which can no longer be milked.
Fixed.

That isn't what it was. It hasn't happened since a couple days ago, but on Chrome, it was stil giving you the option of Easy, MEdium or Hard puzzles. When you clicked on EASY, it actually said "For this difficulty, you will get 1.25 tickets" and it would only give 1 ticket. (I am not sure if it would give you 5 points for solving 4 puzzles.) This only happened in Chrome for me, and it no longer happening.

It's annoying that they are forcing us to do several games and activities to get 100 points a day, but once they have the site running normally, reaching the daily limit will still be quick. I wouldn't give up just yet.

Yeah, the site is horrible right now. I'd say the wheel and the coupon clipper are the only games working perfectly. Image scrambler has some slow downs and apparently some odd issues with points according to those previous puzzlers. Scavanger hunt is not clear on what to do besides search for a product, but doesn't seem to be working at all for anyone. Bargain Hunter works for some, not for others. Hot/Cold works, but its other function doesn't.

I'm not giving up yet, but I hoping they fix this issue. The only thing this has fixed is my weird number (always went by --30, now it's at 4700 rather than 4730, haha).

Care to explain the trick behind making the coupon clipper worthwhile? Do you just search "coupon codes" and put it any ole thing?

I just cut and paste from anycoupons.com. Takes about 30 secs each including load times. I'm sure there's a faster way, but a minute and a half of my time for 30 points is fine by me.

Amazing, I never really bothered using the coupon method but it turns out that its pretty simple. More useful to me now since I can't max out on the wheel/puzzle.

^you could have maxed out faster before the update if you used it.

Does it seem like frequent shopper just "fixed" what wasn't broken.

nope it seems they actually care about stoping cheaters aand botters if anything they are at fault for ms having to do it this way

Yeah but at least they could have given us a site that actually works. Bargain Hunter and Hot/Cold still isn't working for me.

Cheaters? Botters? I don't think anyone cheated except those who messed around with the wheel (only those who were lazy to play the other games did this, which I don't blame). There's no reason why people would use bots, as it took very little time to reach the daily point limit.

The only thing they did was make it harder to get points. They made it harder by dropping some of the point limits on games, and unintentionally making games unplayable. Once they fix the second issue, I don't think there will be any complaining. =p

Fixed, but I couldn't agree with you more.

Thanks! Worked like a charm. Maxed out for the day in about 8 minutes with the wheel, coupons, sliders, and hot/cold.

Seems to be the winning combination. Bargain hunter is an utter waste of time; scavenger doesn't work and looks like it would be a time drain; thank the heavens for hot/cold...makes up for all the 10s and 5s I get on the wheel (although I did get a 15 yesterday!)

Well, if Scavenger Hunt worked, I'd imagine it'd be as simple as highlighting the clue and dragging it to the box, then clicking the product and the CLAIM button, No more than 15 seconds on broadband?

Also, I'm pissed that they fixed the wheel, since my luck is utter shit with that damned thing.

from my count this is the "third" wheel
the first one, you could just clear the cookie and reload the page and your good
the second one , you could spin without being signed in, but when you signed in you had to respin anyway ( at least on both my home and work computers)
i havent experimented with this wheel, can you spin and clear everything, respin, etc until you get the high points and THEN sign in?
