At most of these survey sites, you have to accept tons of spam, mindlessly click through dozens of pages of offers, and possibly end up with a myriad of viruses and such from some of the more shady offers. And for what? $0.50 at a time? It's not worth it, my friends.
Mechanical Turk is nothing like that. There are no surveys that involve clicking 'no' to 100 or more offers to get paid. As an example, I took a survey about my work habits that took about 30 minutes and earned me $7.00. Not bad right?
But wait, it gets better!
Can you type fairly fast? You can transcribe audio from voicemails and lectures and such for as much as $20 per hour. You can write short essays for $3.00 - $5.00 a pop. You can even get paid to try out different websites for functionality (if you have a microphone) for $15 each.
I've tried MANY different survey sites over the years, and this is the best by a long shot. Instead of waiting for a check to come in the mail, the money just goes into your Amazon account by default. Remember, this whole thing is run by Amazon, so you are pretty much guaranteed to get paid for everything you do.
So, you can either keep wasting hours of your time to earn $10 from these spam-generators, or begin earning actual money through Amazon. The choice is yours.
