Searching for an Izuna thread gave me zero results, so I'm taking a big step and starting a thread.

The Kikan talisman which you can stick to a weapon will ship that weapon to the storehouse when you die. If I burn in the kikan and other talismans currently on whatever weapon Izuna is using, is that ability a one-time or infinate use?

And while I'm here, who else has played this game? I was told it was supposed to be all kinds of hard, but it's got to be one of the simplest roguetypes ever. A friend had said he got ticked off at losing all items after dying, but you quickly find all new stuff as soon as you're back in a dungeon.

It's like a no-commitment relationship. Find some cool stuff, try them out, find other cool stuff, and so on.

I was told it was supposed to be all kinds of suck, but perhaps I heard wrong. I'm sure someone out there likes it, probably not enough for an active thread on it, though. Check Gamefaqs to see if they have a FAQ or two that answer your question on it.

I played that game and thought it was pretty good. Haven't beaten it, though, stuck on the last dungeon. To answer your question, I don't think burning in talismans copy the properties of that talisman outside of raising the base stats.

If I remember right, Izuna had the same exploratory format as Pokemon Mystery Dungeon, and I just can't handle that format anymore, as I played Mystery Dungeon heavily for a bit.

So you can't get too attached to any weapons or in your possession unless you find and have room to stick a Kikan to it.

But it's easy fun, going in the dungeons, fighting some monsters, picking up tons of stuff, dying. Losing everything but your experience and doing it again.

I've read the reviews as well, and the biggest complaints I saw were about difficulty. ...I'm not finding too hard. Yeah, dungeon 3 to 4 was a big step as *some* monsters had some crazy attack points, but as you progress in the dungeon you pick up some great defense. *shrugs*

Anyway, I still keep experimenting with burning in the tallismans, as I'm not 100% sure I understand what points go permanent and what doesn't.
