I went to the Yahoo Sports site late last night and the first thing I saw was "Luger Dies" :hot:

I laughed, you bastard.

TNA will be offering its own stream for PPVs online starting with tomorrow nights show Against All Odds. $14.99 to order via TNAVideoVault.com. Just thought I'd pass that along to you folks.

See, I think that's a great idea. Offer a video stream for half the price of what you pay for it normally.

If the stream was high quality and I could record it, there are several WWE PPVs that I'd buy at around $15 a pop.

Which reminds me, does anyone remember a WCW internet PPV from... ~1999 or so? I remember watching something from them waaaaay back in the day on a tiny window on my parents 100 Mhz Pentium over a dial-up connection. It was an incredible idea back then.

EDIT before posting - Wow, it was actually in 1997. There was a house show broadcast on the internet as Saturday Nitro.

"The Wrestling Observer speculates that Bret Hart is being paid $500,000 for his return storyline with WWE as well as a handsome WrestleMania bonus."

If this is true, then I see why he is participating in this horrible angle designed only to make Vince look more like an asshole CEO.
I just watched the Sing Epics episode. Awesome matches.
Yeah. That was a good episode.

About time. Not to say that his feud with Aries was bad, but goddamn did it go on and on. I think that's one thing that ROH needs to work on: shortening feud times.
No kidding. The Black/Aries feud was good, but man, ROH has a bad habit of taking "slow build" to a ridiculous level.

i didn't realize it was a whole angle, I assumed it was a one time RAW appearance. Can someone update me as to what's occurred in the Bret Hard angle for the past month? Do you think it's worth it for me to catch up on it?

So what's a good feud length? And how long has this feud been happening? I've only followed ROH since Cornette's return.

I couldn't care any less about this TNA PPV. You know how much I don't care? I'm watching WCW Saturday Night from 1995 instead. Macho Man vs. 'Stunning' Steve Austin in a US Title Tournament Match. (thumbs up!)
no streams?
Someone would have to PM you a link. We're not suppose to post them here. You could always fork out the $15 TNA charges for their own stream through TNAvideovault.com.

Hernandez vs. Matt Morgan:

That's a weird way to go about a Matt Morgan heel turn. Morgan holds the trunks--but pats Hernandez on the pack and hands him his tag team title? Weird. Between that and the botches. That was a weird match.

How's the $15 stream from TNA look, if anyone went that route? It's something I'm interested in, but I'd rather them work out the kinks first, if it's needed.

Anderson just busted Angle open. I somehow keep waiting for the medics to run in to stop the match but then I remind myself this isn't the WWE. ;)

Anderson beat Angle via Mic Check.

I am not a fan of putting Mr. Anderson over Kurt. However, I guess this '8 card' tournament is to set-up newer talent with an opportunity. 'wish Anderson used another finish, though. A lariat would work well with his heel gimmick.
Thanks Chase but I'm out with the woman and won't be near a computer tonight. I'm posting from my phone.
Ah, OK. :D

Anderson shouldn't be going over Angle clean after seeing Angle main event every ppv for the last four months it seems. Considering he'll face the winner of Foley/Abyss, I'd say Abyss wins his match.

Abyss def. Foley via.... gee take a guess what Abyss likes to slam people into. fucking predictable.

Oh god... Nasty Boys vs Team 3D next.......... someone kill me please.

Black holes?

And why are the Nasty Boys on my screen? :whistle2:(

Edit: And 'Knobs' is spelled with one 'B'? I had no idea.
Black holes?
Thumb tacks.

And why are the Nasty Boys on my screen? :whistle2:(

I keep asking the same thing... and wondering why I'm watching this and not the Fringe Season 1 Blu-Ray boxset I just bought today.

Oh god, Demo Man,
they're extending the story between the Nasties and Dudleyz.
And Jimmy Hart
never ages, apparently.

From the sound of things I'm glad I was watching Backyardigans with my daughter rather than this. :) AJ vs Joe and Pope vs Wolfe were the only matches I really wanted to see anyway.

I didn't think AJ's Flair gimmick could get any worse. Then he
wears that ugly ass Nature Boy Styles robe, that looks even more ridiculous because it has a hood on it.

The right dude won tonight, but I'm happy Anderson was in the main event. It feels great to be watching a product that knows how to push a chicken shit heel. You have to book him in a way that makes the crowd want to see him get his brains kicked in! Pope vs AJ should be a great feud leading up to the new monday night wars!

The LAW just started for those who want to hear about tonight's PPV. The LAW is live every Sunday night and Dave Meltzer usually appears on the show as well.

Tomorrow's edition of Variety gives away that TNA will move to Monday night's starting 3/8. One week will be live then the following week's Impact will be taped Tuesday. That pretty much gives away what the press conference tomorrow will be...... not that it wasn't obvious already but still.

Who in the hell is booking TNA? Between the non-hired Hall and Waltman jumping Pope for no reason (they broke in every other time they've been on but got in no problem to randomly jump someone), AJ/Joe having a hell of a match on top of an overbooked Swerve™, and Jimmy goddamn Hart returning (unless it leads to Heyman or Sign Guy returning for the Dudleys, he's worthless), TNA is booking things by pulling shit out of a hat.

The main event should be the title match. It should ALWAYS be the title match.

Next TNA PPV is all X-Division, and after that PPV is when Pope gets his title shot (I think, I didn't see the PPV).

This is TNA's chance to give people something great here with a nice two-month buildup for AJ/Pope, followed by a no doubt fanastic match.

Of course, since this is TNA, I fully expect lots of appearances of Chico and the WaltMan beating up Pope for no goddamn reason.
