Jak & Daxter HD Collection Available For Pre-Order on Amazon. $40

I played and loved the first one, I had the second one but got into GTA & Madden (from childhood to teen years, memory lane) haha. Anyways I have been waiting for this since I got my PS3 almost a year ago! I like this series a tad more than R&C honestly. I may buy this Day 1.

But that's not the point of the deals area. There are tons of gaming news and discussion sites out there. In fact, there are dedicated areas of CAG for just this type of thing. The deal area is not that area and while it's nice that you personally saved 10 seconds of having to check Amazon for this game and a Vita memory card and NG3 and every other MSRP deal that has been posted this week, the OPs wasted many hours of CAGs time who clicked through only to learn that there was no deal at all. Heck, for games like this that will never sell out, you can preorder a few days before release on Amazon if you have Prime and still get it on release day or shortly thereafter. The point is, we don't need a new thread for every new game that comes out unless and until there is a deal to be had.

There is not an area dedicated to pre-orders/announcements, the general forum for video games is probably the closest place but it's not as easily accessible and it isn't dedicated to this kind of thing.

What are you going on about hours of wasted time anyway? The title is enough to inform you not to click. People are being helped and thanking each other, so I don't get you guys.

Terrible cover art for this HD collection, but the games in it are fantastic - really wish Jak X was included though, that was my favorite kart racer of the previous gen.

All of the Jak games have had a fun, humorous, and adventurous feel to them.

The first game is somewhat similar to a Mario game (platforming, find eggs/power orbs to unlock a new area). It has lots of creative levels. Great pacing, too.

The second and third games have a more serious tone and have a large overworld "hub" with civilians and baddies (nothing too in depth though). The action pumps up with a ton of weaponry to get and use, along with "dark" energy transforming Jak. They come with a wide variety of challenges and if you are a completionist you will be playing a long time.

I believe all of the games are rated "T", a bit edgier then some platforming games, but even with a T rating they are lighthearted and a LOT of fun.

I'm definitely interested in an HD remix.

But yeah...this info. isn't a deal, and sorry I bumped it.
 
Considering that the two made today were by different people, it's easier than you guys that post in multiple threads to complain about the same thing.
