I thought there were more lites available, but I am still surprised the huge sales for the regular DS with the lite out
 
I believe they only got 80,000 Lites out on release.

Yeah... but again, only Valkyrie Profile sold more units than the PSP sold... who buys a $250 handheld and doesn't buy a game with it?

It's a bad generalization/assumption is all; I didn't mean it to be taken as fact. When there are 400k units out there and only one game sells in excess of 25k units in a week... the relationship isn't good.

It couldn't be that they're buying other things than the newest releases.
 
Japanese are still crazy over the Nintendo DS and they still don't care about Microsoft and the Xbox/Xbox 360.

Well, obviously. We could go into the fallacy about the lack of other PSP games that they could be buying but then people would miss the lack of seriousness in that argument as well, so it would continue.
