Just saw that the CBS series "Jericho" has been successfully brought back from cancellation for next year.

At the very least, there will be 7 episodes in midseason next year with the "potential for more" if viewership increases.

This is great news for fans of the series (like myself).

Too bad they killed off Major Dad.

One of the only reasons to watch the show. Him and Timothy Omundson. They should take one more season to finish it up.
 
I was really happy to hear about this earlier today. Personally, I would prefer they just wrap it up after these episodes. Watching seven more episodes with the chance they may just end after that just doesn't appeal to me. The way shows like this get cancelled makes me not to watch them at all until they come to DVD.
