My order...

1.) Toy Story
2.) Toy Story 2
3.) Monsters Inc
4.) Wall-E
5.) Finding Nemo
6.) Rat
7.) Cars
8.) Bugs Life.
1. The Incredibles
2. Ratatouille
3. Wall-E
4. Toy Story
5. A Bugs Life
6. Monsters, Inc.
7. Toy Story 2
8. Cars
9. Finding Nemo

Finding Nemo sucks.

How can anyone like Ratatouille? It was so unbearably boring.

I loved Meet The Robinsons, but that's not Pixar. I enjoyed Over The Hedge, too, and somewhat enjoyed Flushed Away.

Over the Hedge was great. Best non-Pixar computer animated film I've seen.

I don't really think you can tell someone that their taste is poor, but they can definitely be out of their mind.

I enjoy most Pixar movies; Ratatouille was a bit disappointing, though.

Ahh. I guess whenever I see those type of movies I just assume it's Pixar.

AFI's Top 10 Animations
Rank Film Year
1 Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs 1937
2 Pinocchio 1940
3 Bambi 1942
4 The Lion King 1994
5 Fantasia 1940
6 Toy Story 1995
7 Beauty and the Beast 1991
8 Shrek 2001
9 Cinderella 1950
10 Finding Nemo 2003

I have yet to see Nemo or Monster's Inc. but in my experience, Pixar doesn't make bad movies. Some are better than others, but I have enjoyed watching them all.

As for Cars, while the message is a bit too telegraphed, the animation is excellent (particularly the "let's take a drive" scene up to the waterfall), and the characters are enjoyable.

I didn't like Shrek.

I saw Happily Never After. That was mediocre.

I enjoyed the Little Red Riding Hood CG movie. Hoodwinked, I think.

Here's a hint: If it's actually good, it's probably Pixar. If the movie is full of toilet humor and has nothing more to sell than the big name actors in its marketing, it's Dreamworks.

I guess I'm the only one who hasnt watched all of this Pixar shit. Only ones I've seen are:

Toy Story 1 & 2
The Incredibles
Wall E (Only seen a quarter of the movie, gonna finish it up soon)

:whistle2:|

No Nemo is terrible because the Dori character is incredibly annoying and it fails as a comic device (especially after multiple viewings, I seriously wanted a mice and men ending for her character), I would rather the director and story have spent more time in the aquarium.
Having watched each one MULTIPLE TIMES (I have a 3 yo).

Cars
(Because the soundtrack is good, the visuals are slick and in 1080p it is the best looking with all the reflective surfaces and simulated lighting) Also, the fact that they were able to create a kids story with a Pyrrhic victory and still have likable characters that are multidimensional and "grow" is amazing. Granted this is on the sophisticated side for kids and the typical American movie narrative, where the Hero has to win for closure.
I am looking forward to the Sequel. However, most kids I know really enjoy it, even if the main-character is intentionally unlikeable in the beginning.

Ratatouille (A Cyrano de Bergerac tale, with cooking/food as the muse- awesome) Great visuals, style and soundtrack. It captures the working restaurant atmosphere very well. Also holds up well for multiple viewings, again probably on the complex side for the "general public" but kids get it no problem.

Wall-E (close to a tie for second but, it suffers major diminishing returns with multiple viewings and has a weaker soundtrack- Plus, kids lose interest in this one more sit throughs quickly) It has a moral that is definitely on the preachy and beat you over the head with it side.

Toy Story (well balanced all the way around).

Incredibles, solid but definately for older kids/ weak soundtrack and smudgy visuals and textures (I get the style but I just don't like it).

Monsters Inc. Solid comedy, weak story. Kids and adults are mixed in opinions.

Bugs Life: Come on, the divided we stand AS INDIVIDUALS not as a mindless 'whole' moral, fantastic. Visual style is great but the soundtrack is on the weaker side. It certainly needed more comedy, but the canon-ball run style credit-roll outtakes are hillarious.

Toy Story 2

Finding Nemo, at the bottom, because a lost "Babe" story is too emotionally easy and for the reasons mentioned above.

Anyone who says ANTZ was better than Bug's Life needs to watch PBS kids shows for days on end Clockwork Orange Style (strike that, they would probably enjoy it.
Incredibles and Toy Story were good. Everything else is pretty much not worth watching.

But I haven't seen Wall-E yet.
Who are you and why does your opinion matter? :whistle2:s;)

Incredibles wasn't worth watching, save for anything involving Jack Jack.
Toy Story wasn't worth watching either. Toy Story 2 is worthwhile for some of the Buzz Lightyear scenes, but overall not so good either. Then again, I abhor Tom Hanks.

I've seen a lot of them. Toy Story 1 & 2, Finding Nemo, Cars, Monsters Inc., The Incredibles and probably a few more I'm forgetting. Mostly I watched them with my nephew when he was a little younger (aside from Toy Story, those came out when I was younger), and I'm sure there are more to come.

Look, everybody! Brak has competition as a film critic!!

I thought the Incredibles was a cute movie. One of my favorite Pixar movies actually.
Children find Dory amusing. Though children also find Jar Jar Binks amusing... so yeah.
Dory is a little addle-brained, but she's still amusing.

This comic countdown on Comedy Central was going good until now (Dane Cook). Granted I only saw 12 and 11 before him. I woke up at 3:10 :D.

Most of them, if not all, were free via Pepsi points.

Have I told you gays I think me&Shrike had the same indian Overlord at one point?

And thet I told said Overlord to go fuck hisself at his big party?
I guess I need to watch Cars again, because I don't remember any of the characters really growing or being multidimensional.
Is the entire point Cars' story arch not watching Lightning McQueen grow past his winning and racing is everything mentality ? ? ? ? ! ! !

Chick Hicks never learns it, achieves his Pyrrhic victory and is boo'ed and hated, in winning he loses.

Sometimes to win you need to lose, sometimes when you wanna go right- you need to turn left. Learn to turn on dirt, that's life. Jesus Christ man . . . do you watch movies or sit there slack-jawed pumping pop-corn and cola into your face.

*high-five*

Cars wasn't terrible. It had some likeable parts, and I laughed at some of the jokes.
That's ultimately my gauge for Pixar movies -- How much did I laugh or find myself amused.

Very: Wall-E, Finding Nemo
More than a couple: Monsters, Inc.
Some: Cars
Hardly: Ratatouille, Incredibles, Toy Story 2
None: Toy Story, A Bug's Life

Is that not a massive cliche'? Again, I need to watch it again because it's been a solid 2 years since I've seen it, but I don't remember his growth being as amazing as you describe it.

I still need to watch Wall-E.
