Cars wasn't terrible. It had some likeable parts, and I laughed at some of the jokes.
That's ultimately my gauge for Pixar movies -- How much did I laugh or find myself amused.

Very: Wall-E, Finding Nemo
More than a couple: Monsters, Inc.
Some: Cars
Hardly: Ratatouille, Incredibles, Toy Story 2
None: Toy Story, A Bug's Life
When I show Cars to my students they all turn and look at me when he says Hillbilly hell and I'm like its G rated!

I'm starting to get a little paranoid, well I'm always paranoid. Anyways, I post on this other forum. The main forum is for students interested in a health professions. There's also a casual area of the forum that's supposedly unmoderated and people talk about a lot of different shit. Kind of like OTT but with nicer people. :p I've said a lot of crap in this area of the forum, and only started to post in the professional areas. Well, I've been hearing people say that admissions people check out these forums, and if you post some self identifying info about yourself and they figure who are are, they can reject you. It probably wouldn't be too hard to figure who I am in these post if the admissisons committes were to follow me around. Just getting nervous. I know no one cares. ;p
Every morning I wake up and wonder why DarlingNina is still posting here
Nice to know you think of me lordwow. :D
Most of them, if not all, were free via Pepsi points.
 I didn't own a single Pixar movie until Pepsi points. Fortunately, they had every single one except for Wall-E. Also shored up the couple Studio Ghibli films missing from my collection.

Sounds like it's your fault for posting shit you wouldn't want your potential bosses to know in an forum that it's obvious they are going to read.

As I say to my son: "What did you learn...?"
Wall-E was by and far the best Pixar film. And you can take that to the bank.
It's Sunday, banks are closed.
As I say to my son: "What did you learn...?"
"Putting forks in the power outlets hurts."
Is that not a massive cliche'? Again, I need to watch it again because it's been a solid 2 years since I've seen it, but I don't remember his growth being as amazing as you describe it.

I still need to watch Wall-E.
Name another AAA kids movie where the protagonist learns that lesson and actually LOSES for closure- And not first loses and only THEN learns the lesson afterwards. That's why it's brilliant film making.

That's why it's not a cliche, it turns the fucking cliche on it's head.
"Putting forks in the power outlets hurts."
My oldest brother did that when he was a kid. No lie. Story goes it shot him across the room.

Nice catch on the Titus reference...

This is the only reason I have copies of Cars and Ratatouille in the house.
I guess that means you should stop posting in here Nina.
I highly doubt anyone on an admissions committee is going to come in here and read this stuff.
Sounds like it's your fault for posting shit you wouldn't want your potential bosses to know in an forum that it's obvious they are going to read.
Puma, you know we're the same person so stop being mean to me!
I guess that means you should stop posting in here Nina.
Haven't you learned yet -- if the people want to stay bad enough that you trying to get them to leave doesn't work quickly, they're not going to leave ever. Stop wasting your time.

Not bad. 6/10

I sold my last copy of Gripshift for $60. Here's the message the guy from Italy sent:
I have acquired the game from sold you.
I would want to know you the shipment modalities in Italy, remembering to you the shipment address

The Shrek movies were amazing.
Fixed:
Shrek was amazing.
2 was watchable, with the Tom Waits cameo

3 was the CGI equivalent of raw sewage.
Is the entire point Cars' story arch not watching Lightning McQueen grow past his winning and racing is everything mentality ? ? ? ? ! ! !

Chick Hicks never learns it, achieves his Pyrrhic victory and is boo'ed and hated, in winning he loses.

Sometimes to win you need to lose, sometimes when you wanna go right- you need to turn left. Learn to turn on dirt, that's life. Jesus Christ man . . . do you watch movies or sit there slack-jawed pumping pop-corn and cola into your face.
I watch movies. I'm not a movie buff or film critic by any means, but I'm also not your typical teenager who gets hyped for Saw VI or Mall Cop.

Like I said, I need to watch Cars again. If I can find my sisters DVD of it I'll watch it tonight or tomorrow and then we can discuss it. Until then, don't assume I'm a moron.
My oldest brother did that when he was a kid. No lie. Story goes it shot him across the room.

I fucking loved that show, have both dvd sets.

When I was in 5th grade this "trend" went around where all the bad kids would stick paper clips in the outlets. One kid flew across the room and into a book shelf, had a seizure and was taken to the hospital. The next day they had a meeting in the auditorium and showed all of us his shirt with holes burnt it in. I laughed and got kicked out, they took me to guidance and asked me if I was suicidal and shit. I couldn't stop laughing.

This is a pretty standard story of how most people ended up becoming OTT members.

I'm not, I am being tongue-in-cheek with you. Please don't take offense. I am inflammatory, not to be confused with infuego.
You know...I'm kinda kicking myself for not getting Pixar films with my raped pepsi points...
Dumbass
Not bad. 6/10
Come on, that's worth at least a 7
Shrek is the best Pixar movie

I eventually told them I thought it was hilarious that people were dumb enough to do that and then other people thought it was cool to do it. They told me it wasn't funny and let me go.

Loved that show. I was pissed beyond belief that Fox canceled that and left that shitty Bernie Mac show on.

I may be a horrible human, but when Bernie Mac died, a dark part of me was happy. Not only did I think he was terribly unfunny, but I was still pissed about his show...

Anyone dumb enough to do that deserves to die.
