Jet Moto (PS1 Classic for PS3/PSP) 2.99 on gamestop

Does the second game include the music from the first? If not, definitely get the 1st. Fantastic racing music. Forever embedded into my brain.
Hmmm, I remember this game being fun all those years ago... the question is, will it still be enjoyable. Hmmmmmmm
Aged like a loaf of bread.

I played JM2 a couple months back..abysmal controls.

That said, and not to hijack a topic but is twisted metal 2 worth buying still? That one I haven't played in years.

I had a really hard time playing Jet Moto when it was first released. The controls, to me, were really difficult and it was incredibly hard to win any races due to that grapple function you had to use. I thought I was good at racing games back then (beat Wipeout and Motor Toon Grand Prix 2 using only the original digital controller, and did okay with Rally Cross 1), but this one threw me for a loop.

I haven't played the game since then, but my personal guess is that it did not age well. Still, for $2.99 I guess it's not a bad deal if you're curious. Much better than the ~$50 I paid for the original used (PSOne games were $60 back in '96, at least at Electronics Boutique).

Yeah, even for $3 I don't think I'll get this for the memories. Glad to see a game discounted, though. I say it all the time that I'd buy more PS1 games if they went on sale more often. I've yet to pay full price for one and I don't intend on starting.

Were PS1 games ever that expensive? I remember new PS1 games retailing for $49.99 with 1st party Sony games being $10 cheaper at $39.99 MSRP. That was one of Sony's main selling points, disc games being cheaper than N64 cartridges. Bet yeah, that seems like forever ago now that games are $59.99 and even more for all the special editions.
