I don't suppose for the sake of my piece of mind, you could tell me what the offer was? So that I can say "yeah, there's no way in good conscience I could match that so you did the best thing for both you and I" ?

For the Beta offer, it was slightly under $4K in cash.

It still was a pretty steep discount considering the Lotus goes for $3K alone.

Oh yes, it's quite the discount. The Lotus doesn't go for quite that much, but the Power 9 goes for almost $8000 all said. It's just a personal check on myself to not spend more than I would on a videogame console than I would on a single card.

Indeed I did. I just need to cross-check with my current collection to make sure about some stuff.
