Hmmm... WAY back when I first signed up I did the rolling referral thingy too, but I don't see anyone showing up in my activity report as having joined (I thought someone said they did but maybe it didn't take for some reason). Sucks that they modified the prizes to require certain levels - JUST, of course, as I was getting close to one of the semi-decent ones (I have about 1700 points). I'm still an "Adventurer"...

Anyways, what is the answer to the Castlevania remake question? Sorry, I know nothing about the series.

Of course it is all moot if they don't add more prizes. I'm so close to the games but I won't get enough points in time, most likely.

I am literally 100 points away from a game, but I highly doubt they will restock. What a waste of time.
 
Not that it really matters at this point, but does anyone know how to get up to the rank of warrior? It doesn't appear to be point or time based. I've posted on their message boards before and that doesn't seem to help either, as people with fewer messages then me have the status.
I'm just under 2500 points and would like to atleast walk away with a game before it closes, but I'm stuck at adventurer.

I'm not entirely sure, as I'm in the same situation, but all of the games are out of stock at the store, so I think we're SOL either way.

here read this; for ppl need to rank up:

1. Apprentice
Everyone starts off here.

2. Adventurer
You must be a member for at least 30 days, and have completed at least 2 challenges.

3. Warrior
You must be a member for at least 90 days, and have completed at least 7 challenges. In addition, you must have recruited 1 member, sent 5 links, and made at least 25 posts in the message board.

4. Hero
You must be a member for at least 180 days, and have completed at least 15 challenges. In addition, you must have recruited 3 members, sent 15 links, and made at least 75 posts in the message board.

5. Star of Destiny
You must be a member for at least 300 days, and have completed at least 30 challenges. In addition, you must have recruited 7 members, sent 30 links, and made at least 150 posts in the message board.

There was no restock. Apparently the 'restock' was the supply of prizes given away in the countdown events. Chewster777 won the signed Kojima poster, and I took second with a "Konami Grab Bag"...whatever that is...:/

That that I can complain after winning the Flash Flood contest XD I just wish I knew what this "Grab Bag" is...

Cool! So it looks like a few of us CAGers got the chance to represent Konami RPG Stars today! Congrats Dejitaru_Davis! You had some awesome entrys and I thought it was a pretty close call between the two of us. I was totally shocked to see that I had won the Kojima signed Lunar Knights poster. You did a great job though. It kind of stinks, that no one got to see our drawings and stuff unless they were on for that short time, and now the site's down. I did manage to save the page as backup for myself. I wish they could have restocked Suikoden V too, but I'm happy that we came out well.

First off, the way he worded his closing announcement email made it seem like an restock was going to happen, all the stars that were given away the last ten days didn't help either. Second, he did nothing to dispell the rumors of a restock. Finally, he waited till the last minute to finally say that there wasn't going to be a restock. He had to have know that we were expecting one, becuase there were at least four topics going asking about it, and in the last five or so announcements people asked about it in the comments. So, he either didn't pay attention to the site as much as he should have, just didn't care about it, or he wanted to make us wait until the very end.

exactly. we did the countdown challenges for nothing. we earned so many stars for nothing. the stupid email said theres gonna be a restock and shit. we all waited for nothing. wasted my damn time.

i didnt get a single item from them. i shouldve bought that fleece jacket when i had the chance but i waited thinking they gonna restock new items in the future. im hoping they gonna open up castlevania fan site and transfer all our points to there.

I wonder why they decided to close it so fast. Every other fan community I have been has given the closing warning at least a month early. Konami Stars closing just spang up out of nowhere.

Thanks! And yeah, it sucks the way it ended...the winners were only up for what seemed like a few minutes before the site closed. Of course, that may've been related to the fact that the winners weren't posted until well after 4:00...it was around 5:00, wasn't it? Eastern time, of course. The point is, it was an hour after they said they'd be closing.
 
I'm glad Iwent ahead and got Ys once they annouced it would be closing, I figured people would be using all their points on whatever they could, and sure enough a couple days later everything was gone. Sucks I still had around 1,000 points when it closed, but it's not as much as some people had...
 
I didn't get anything from the prize giveaways but I did get Lost in Blue 2 a couple months back. I'm glad I bought that game with my stars when I had the chance. I had a second alt account on the site and I ordered Tao's Adventure with it. I gave it away to a friend of mine, I have no use for a game I already own. Might as well give it away.
 
Mine came, too. I'm happy with the signed print. My grab bag was apparently Ys and Brooktwon High for the PSP and a DDR CD. Kind of disappointed...considering I don't have a PSP. :/
 
Today I got my Suikoden CD and gold coin! I haven't opened it up yet. I don't see what the big deal is. It appears to just feature some songs from the first four games. I thought it be rearranged music or something different than just tracks from the games. Does anyone know about this one? (It's not the Suikoden V one.)
 
I never gotten my Lunar Knights game since I was Falcongamer at the site. He should have contacted me instead of leaving like the coward he is. Even Konami should have helped me but they didn't.
