Doesn't that mean that LIVE doesn't work on it? I thought that was a bug that MS was having lately. You should probably test that out.

That's just silly.. you can never use the word silly too much... maybe I'm just silly! :bouncy:

Anyway I can't test live out because I don't want to activate the account because then it wants to turn on the free month of gold and I don't want to cheat whoever buys it out of that.

Technically the only thing used is the controller - I haven't used the unit since MS sent it back to me.
 
$485.00 is still alot for a refurbished Xbox 360. Also People who use the word silly as much as you do are usually $$$$$$'s (Gay Guys).

Okay lets play what if for a second... what if you purchased the xbox yourself, got it home, after playing with it for a bit you realized it was doing the lock up thing, sent it in, got one back from MS...

That's what you'd have now, cept I already sent it in for you. The original one that was in my original box was defective. This one shouldn't be.

Anyway thanks for the free bump - if someone is honestly interested in this and wants to negotiate, then feel free, but keep in mind that I'm not really making any money off of this thing - I just don't have the time to play it and figure that someone out there who wants one should have it instead and I'll get one later when I actually have time to use the thing.

Now Did they send you a brand new 360 or the same one?

If they sent you back the same exact one, IMO I consider it a refurbished unit. Since it was broke after a short time of use and had to be sent back to the factory to fix it.

If they sent you a brand new one then sure it's brand new.

They sent me a brand new one... The original one had a production date of November, this one is production date of december and a different serial number.

My taxes were 33.42 on just the XBox - that's not counting the extra controller.

I should move to Oregon - no tax there!

Edit: forgot a number when I calculated... my tax rate is 8.375%
 
Bump! Updated Price - I can't really negotiate much more on the price - this is what I paid for it. Remember it comes with two controllers.. one wired one wireless. As a bonus you can use the wired one on your PC as well via the USB port ;)
 
you are aware, that with tax, the 360 and that extra controller goes over your price by like 1 buck. So you are selling a used, or at least unsealed 360 with a wired controller, for basically $1 under retail, and you still need to pay for shipping as well. This is CHEAP Ass Gamer, not STUPID Ass Gamer.
 
From your post, considering that you're not offering me a counter-offer, I can assume you aren't really interested in it anyway, so thanks for the bump ;)

Again, if someone is actually interested in the 360 and not just looking to tell me that I need to sell it to them for $0.25, please pm me or post - trades are also acceptable as part of the deal too ;)
 
Some friendly advice, put the 360 on Ebay or Craigslist. You won't get anything reasonable from people here except for trades. No offense intended towards anyone, but it's the truth.

Already have it up on Craigslist - have it up on here too for cheaper ;) Mostly looking for stuff in my TL currently, but if someone happens to want my 360 then I'd be most pleased :)
