Damn, when I saw weapon of choice in the list I thought they included a discount on an indie game... oh well. The real Weapon of Choice is still $5.

I saw a promo on the dashboard about racing game DLC going on sale. A couple of Forza 3 and NFS Hot Pursuit packs on there for 50% or 43% off or some bullshit like that

isnt dance central the best kinect dance game? & the devs are nice fun people...

a joke is spewing hate

Nope you're wrong. It's a joke. The fact that it could be the best dance game on the kinect and whether or not the devs are "nice fun people..." are irrelevant.

DLC of the Week sales need to start diversifying it's options in terms of arcade, retail, etc. content, not just cater to one specific target every week (e.g. the dance crowd, RB crowd, MW crowd).

That's what the majority of people are pissed off about.

This times 10.

It's not so bad when you have a deal on stuff like Rockstar games because it's usually quality stuff, but two weeks ago they had a deal on Oblivion stuff released 6 years ago. That just doesn't cut it.

Just noticed this myself. They also have 2 XBLA games, Scrap Metal and Days of Thunder, half price as part of that deal.

well they're trying to milk money, things that sell well would stay full price, things that dont will have sales or drops, why else did MAG become GH within months & several year old call of duty games are still $30 & up

plus MS sucks at sales, the GFWL 'deals' are rarely more than 50% on top of an inflated price, while steam gets proper sales

i think I'm actually going to grab Heavy Weapon. I've had it on my wishlist for a VERY long time since I played the demo a few years back. As far as I can remember, this is the first time its been on sale since I signed up for Gold.

This game should have been $5 by now anyway since it came out in 2007...

Heavy weapons is a light, fun game. 4 player coop and all. Very much a throwback to some of the old arcade games.
How peggle nights compared to regular peggle?
It adds one new Peggle Master (who is actually pretty good) and a bunch of new levels & challenges. If you like Peggle (and seriously WHO DOESN'T) you should totally get it.

Also, Peggle is awesome.
Been holding out for PvZ. Feeling good now.
I bought PvZ on the iPhone recently.... and LOVE it (but beat it). I'm gonna buy it again on Xbox.

It has co op. Totally worth it.

Decent deals this week:

400 (50% off) Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Turtles in Time Reshelled
600 (50% off) Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light
400 (50% off) X-men Arcade
400 (50% off) Comic Jumper
600 (50% off) Hard Corps: Uprising

I'll have to check out Hard Corps, but I think I'll still skip Comic Jumper(as much as I like Twisted Pixel's other games).

Last chance to buy Turtles before it gets pulled from the store(I think it's this version that's being pulled). I bought it for 200 a long time ago and still haven't played it.

Definitely getting Lara Croft, and maybe Hard Corps.

From jergrah on Neogaf:

Upcoming Deal of the Week Info ---
Heatin’ Up Summer July 5-11

Torchlight 800 (33% off)
Dante’s Inferno: Dark Forest Pack 200 (50% off)
Medal of Honor Hot Zone Pack 400 (50% off)
Rock Band Red Hot Chili Peppers Blood Sugar Sex Magik Album 1200 (25% off)
Stacking 600 (50% off)

Sweet, been patiently waiting for Stacking to go on sale. Next, the long patient wait for Outland and Trenched sales

Good deal on Hard Corps: Uprising; will probably grab that. Everything else has been on sale before, but still not bad if you haven't picked them up previously.

I missed Comic Jumper when it was on sale during April Fool's Day so this is my time to pick it up.

Except I will need to get Microsoft Points to get it.

Comic Jumper is a strangely inverted game - I want to skip all the gameplay to watch the cutscenes. Not sure if I want to pay 400 for it :p But the trimmings are so good! Conundrum!

Does it get any better than the demo levels? Or is it all kind of the same thing over and over again?
