Anybody got some junk but NON Pox Ps2 titles they want/need to turn into quick cash? Im really trying to do the Ps2 trade in but Im fresh out of titles. Pm me what ya got/what ya want for it.

SOme people say they have had sucess trading in the jampacks that CC sells for $1 you should look into that

Rig lucked out something fierce on that Jampacks trade-in. I envy him so. :(
You took one of my ideas, OP, and I wish I could help you out. I don't already own a PS2, but I was considering purchasing the cheapest one I could find on eBay and five dirt cheap games. I'd end up saving $20-40. I don't know if it's worth the effort, though.

I think its a differnt worth to each person. Like for me, its a good deal because one of my controllers is starting to go (works for a test but after 1 hour it starts to fail) and I never got a network adapter. Those are about $20 and $35 each so I get a new unit for my old unit and what I need for $5 less.

Id say to the ebay thing but darn if they dont go for $100 almost each and every time. If you could get is at $75, team up 5 $5 games, yeah, its worth it. Otherwise, kinda a hassle.

I just went to Gamestop and picked up 5 shitty 2 dollar games. My EB didn't have any exclusions though.

I fyou don't have the games you just have to pay $10 for each game you don't have. In my case Vice City only counted as half a game so I shelled out $5

Vice City for PS2 was sold separately, so I don't know why it would only count as half a game even if it is bundled with GTA 3 right now.
Jampacks wont work, nor POX. The computer says no so employee says no. Only way around that is a manager and mine is a total tool.
They worked at my EB! Got myself the new PStwo and a new Xbox using five Exhibition (demo) discs. I'm not sure why they accepted them, but the people there are very nice, and have been announcing to their customers to use Jampacks and Exhibition discs!

I do have a PSone that I no longer need, though, and that counts for $25 credit towards the PStwo. The deal is similar, in that you can trade in up to five PSone games along with it for $5 credit each. It doesn't make a huge dent in the price, but it's not like I could sell it on eBay for more than that.

trade in on a ps1 is always $10, all youre getting is a guaranteed $15 for 5 ps1 titles. ($25-10)

That has always been the case, but apparently they're running a special trade-in offer. They have similar PStwo deals running for every console straight down to a DC or N64. Check it out.
On that note, if you have an old console laying around, you might be able to trade that in instead of five PS2 games.

With my luck, the odds of me making this deal work with jampacks or sports titles are about as good as me enjoying a nice frothy beverage sitting in a lawn chair on the surface of the sun.

Traded in my PSone w/ 2 games ($35) and my second N64 ($10) towards the PStwo today. Not too bad of a deal. The manager was telling me that they just had a meeting this morning, and that the arrival date was bumped up to October 16th. I guess this means that those November release rumors were incorrect. Free bump! :)

It's actually a list available on their Web site. Basically, I interpret it to stand for Piece Of Sh*t list, because it includes budget titles that aren't worth $10 used. Check it out.

I love that my topic is picking up steam again but does anybody have anythign that could help me out? Feel free to go off topic, I dont care, thats what Id do, just if somebody has need of cash for games PM!!!!!!!!!

The 16th? That's a Saturday. That's odd. It's also still the 14th on the website. Weird.

You're right, that is odd. I didn't know that the 16th was a Saturday at the time, of course. That is what the man said, though, and he looked like the type who would know what he's talking about.. if ever there were such a type at EB.
