Just a word of warning to anyone who has an interest in the PS2 version of this game, that it is a Blue Backed Disc, which may not work in an older fat PS2 that is having trouble reading blue backed discs.

Unless you are a collector, 40 bucks is a lot of money to put out for a used game just to be dis-appointed that you can't play it. Not that it's that good anyway.
 
I'd buy it, but I could get it off Ebay for the same price after the 25% off and I would atleast know if I was getting the original box, artwork, and instructions.

What I was thinking....I'd much rather spend an extra $5 to get a game that was definitely complete and in good condition.
 
Wow, even after the Xbox reprint these games are going for that much? I realize that was a while ago, but I didn't realize that the value was so high on this game.
 
Holy crap...the game is rare? I've been sitting on an opened copy for like years now...I never thought it would be worth something.
 
DAMN IT!!! I had my PS2 copy sealed,...after reading the post, I went and looked at it,....my ex-wife freaking opened it :(

Got it for $5 too :(
 
What is the point of this thread? The game is rare, so your getting it because it's rare and you want to play it/collect it or because it can fetch a penny on ebay? Is this game any good?

I got a copy of this from the the local video store for $4.99 a couple of years ago. It's not a bad game but I thought it got a bit repetitive after a while.. and just to be clear, I kinda sucked at it too as I never got to 5 stars, 4 is all I ever got, no matter how much I expanded the park and the facilities.

Anyway, I traded it in to GS for something like $10 or $15 BEFORE I found out it's a freaken rare and expensive game! :wall:

Personally, I can't understand why this game is so freaken expansive... may be just because there's not much else like it on consoles?
 
I have this game on PC and its ok. Its your avaerage park builder, but with dinos. Has some cool ideas. Except I bought mine for $15, not those prices. If you like Jurassic Park and park builders, you'll like this game.
