I bought Universe at War for the computer. It comes with a free one month live trial that I don't need. I haven't opened it up yet (and won't till I get around to playing it). Does this only work for the computer or would it work for the 360 as well?

I apologize before hand if this is a really dumb question...but I would appreciate an answer before I give it away and screw somebody over. Thanks...

Live is not free online. In order to have a gold account on either the 360 or PC, you have to pay. The trial should work on either platform, as you can use a Live account with either one.

I SAID Window live, not 360 live. Window live is free online because they trying to beat Steam.

It's pay on 360, but there is not such thing as a Gold account on PC.
 
the reason it comes with it for free is because you used to need a Gold Account on PC to play online, later they changed it so you can play online on a PC with a Silver account, you can use the code on either a PC or 360 to up either account up to Gold for 1 month.

Xbox Live is the same account on Windows or Xbox. It comes in Gold or Silver. In the past, you needed Gold to play multiplayer for the PC or Xbox. They changed this to only require silver for the few games that did require gold on the PC. The xbox still requires gold for all online matchmaking (with a couple of exception weekends here and there).
