Just bought the Zelda bundle and am loving it. Can anyone recommend a good cheap case and some of the better games that might be going for cheap

Nintedo makes a case that I bought for $10. It holds 6 games. I bought it for the DS phat but the lite one fits just as well. I also have something called armour something (its a clear shell that fits around the the ds). I love it so far.

For games advance wars, castlevania, clubhouse games, rocket slime

i believe baron is referring to the armorlite case

for good cheap games right now, you can get

Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney
Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney Justice For All
Guilty Gear Dust Strikers
Hotel Dusk Room 215
Picross DS
Puzzle Quest
Trauma Center Under The Knife

and a slew of other good ds titles for the $20 range now.

Case:
Armolite case for $10 (you can find knockoffs on ebay for cheap)

Nerf Armor case for drop protection and extra bulk $13

DS Lite duo case for games $10. Holds 6 DS games and 1 stylus (1 stylus is included). Very sturdy case for games. I only bought it because it was cool looking haha :D

Good cheap games
Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow $20
Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin $20
Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney $20
Phoenix Wright: Justice for All $14.99-$19.99
Scruge: Hive $10

Elite Beat Agents. $19 if purchased at kmart (though YMMV at kmart). You might have to try a few different kmarts, though my local one has several copies. Fantastic rhythm game, but after playing it you'll find yourself uncontrollably wanting to pick up the two Japanese versions, Ouendan and Ouendan 2 (the game titles are actually much longer than that). Those are a bit less cheap. :)

I bought a copy for $15. I was surpised to see it for that cheap.

if youre into classic gaming gs/eb was selling konami classics for the ds for 9.99 new. i picked up a copy this week because of contra ( which is the arcade version) and yie ar kung fu.

someone mentioned Puzzle Quest already.. but really its that good to mention again..

I don't like the phoenix wright type games .. mostly because they feel more like a chore then actual gaming..

If you like cart racing.. Mario Kart Ds is awesome.. Diddy Kong racing is OK but its pretty good.

I also recommend picking up Clubhouse Games, you can easily get into a game of solitare or other quick card game to pass the time. I don't like Brain Age too much.. but the Sudoku on it is entertaining..

I love the platformers on the system.. get New Super Mario Bros.. probably IMO the best game on the system.. Super Princess Peach is alright, although the style isn't for everyone.

The only genre I haven't really found a game that I really like is RPG. I haven't played FF3 DS, mostly because I'm not fond of the NES FF games.. BUT this is negated because of all the great GBA RPGs available at any game store.. so any SNES remake on the GBA is a great game on the DS.

The kmart thread said that EBA was $19, but sure enough, I just bought a copy for $15 from kmart, not long after posting that, so the price is now $15. This particularly kmart had 4 or 5 more copies left. At $15 it's a complete no-brainer purchase. I already have a copy (and love it), the one I bought today is for a nephew.

Just got this for 12.97 at Sears on clearance. I'll break it open on my trip tomorrow. I saw puzzle quest at Target for $15 but passes because I wasn't sure if it was the one everybody was talking about. Supposedly it has about 100 hours of gameplay so I may swing back and pick that up. does either game have multiplayer in them?

For those of you who have ordered from Play Asia before, which shipping method would you recommend: Economy Air Bubble or Economy Air Box? I'm about to order a DS case from the site, and was wondering if it was worth spending the extra $2 for the box, or if the bubble packaging would be sufficient.

Also, how long does it usually take for your package to arrive? And are their any discount coupons? I saw the ones for the $50 or $100 purchases, but I won't be spending that much. Thanks.

I third the Hori pouches. Another good one is the Hori Multi-Pouch. It is smaller than it looks in the pictures.

Hori makes quality products, in my experience.
Feel the Magic. Last I saw it was $6 bucks used. That was my first DS game (other than the bundled Mario Kart) and I loved it.
that game was FANTASTIC, i couldn't wait for rub rabbits and it was equal if not better than FTM :)

I also endorse the Nerf DS Case...I've had a black one for a while now and it rocks.

It looks like a fuckin' brick but it's saved my DS from multiple drops.

I bought the hard case for my PSP, I'd imagine it's the same material for the DS hard case, and I had it shipped in the air bubble stuff, and it was fine. The case itself is sturdy enough to hold up to the rigors of the mail transit. If you're buying a softer case, it would likely be fine as well.

It did take quite a while though, as they ship out of Hong Kong, maybe 10 days or something? But the quality of the case was definitely worth the wait.
