i have no clue what its for, i got alot of checks in this week, nothing was stating what it was for inside the check so i dont know what its for.....please PM me if it was you
 
it there a return address or someone names on the check. or is it one of those fake checks they send saying you have/could win.
 
Is there any fine print on the back of the check? or was it a personal check? Before you cash it, photo copy the front and back.
 
I've noticed that rebate checks can arrive with little or no information to help you remember what it was for. Do you remember sending in a rebate about three to six months ago? (this is assuming that the address(es) weren't handwritten and look to be from a personal desk, of course)
 
MY old credit card company would send me 10, 20, even $40 checks, but if you cashed them, they would enroll you in their credit protection program. Gotta watch out for that stuff.
