Just Got Xbox Live...Now What Games To Get?

I need some games to play over Live, any suggestions? I'm not into traditional sport games like football so um yeah

Already have:

Halo 2
Crimson Skies
Project Gotham Racing 2
 
Dead or Alive: Ultimate
Street Fighter Anniversary

if ya like fighters

Phantom Dust, if ya like weird action games
 
get Ghost Recon 2 Summit Strike when it comes out in 2 weeks also grab this months OXM magazine with PGR3 on the cover the demo disk contains a online multiplayer demo of Battlefield 2, full game not out till November.

Two good shooters for $40.............
 
I liked Dead or Alive and Guilty Gear, but I wouldn't recommend them for Live play. It seems like about everyone has lag issues and if you don't your opponents probably will. Street Fighter has a great connection though and I'd recommend it.

Ghost Recon 2 Summit Strike does look cool so I'd second that. Not sure about Black Arrow with Lockdown coming out. Chaos Theory is definitelly worth getting.

If you like sports games get NCAA 06 or Madden when it comes out. Those are great to play online.

SF:A lags too...you have to parry a second later than you normally would.

GG is basically unplayable. DOA is hit or miss, I don't get lag unless I play someone with a shitty connection
 
I say pick up the Battlefield 2: Modern Combat demo (in the August '05 issue of OXM), Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory, Burnout 3: Takedown , Ghost Recon 2: Summit Strike, and then save the rest of your money for games that are coming out this fall like Far Cry: Instincts and Rainbow Six 3: Lockdown.
