Got Shenmue II (Xbox) for $7 shipped off an Ebay auction today. Pretty happy with that. I was actually kind of shocked when nobody sniped it in the final seconds.

From the ad it looks like the case's insert is screwed up somehow, but it has the disc and manual (says 2 discs so I assume one is the movie recap of the first game.)

as long as shipping isnt 7 bucks or something like that, you got a pretty good deal...

i hate ebay sellers that charge an arm and leg for shipping... I avoid them like the plague 8)

Says he got it for 7 shipped, so I am assuming that he has included those charges into the final 7 dollar price. Not bad at all.

Not a bad deal. I got it from a local pawn shop for 10. Given that I avoided the shipping costs, and the fact that I didn't have to deal with the hellhole that is e-bay, I was very pleased.

edit- oh, 7 shipped. That's a very good deal, since most people charge at least 3-4 for shipping.

Yeah winning bid was $3 + $4 for shipping. First auction I've won, I've had a few auctions sniped away from me in the final seconds though. Does anybody use a good sniping program (or are there websites that will do this?) and are they expensive?

But I hear ya on the sellers that charge a crapload for shipping. I've been watching xbox games lately and there are 4 or 5 powersellers that seem to always have 5 or 6 auctions ending with shipping of $8 or $9 or more. One seller has shipping set at $15!!! Waste of my time clicking their links. Is there any way you can have eBay filter a given sellers auctions out of your search results? If not they should implement that, or at least let you see the seller's id in the search results. (But I guess it would piss off sellers.)

i use bidnapper.com for sniping, although it isnt free. My dad buys lots of stuff on ebay and pays for it so i dont know how much it costs.

Try http://www.auctionstealer.com to snipe. They give you a few free snipes per month. If you want more, you can just buy them. Highly recommended.
