i figured im getting MSRP for new retail prices for games that i spent even less on, so might as well get ridda them and i can always buy them back even cheaper if i wanted....also, i was suprisingly unimpressed with LBP and infamous, like at first i loved them, and then as the days went by and i had more games to play, these started to get not played at all, so no loss either way

what games have you guys traded?

They are in transit. Sorted this morning, so I guess the box is on its way. CA to MD?
 
yeah i know right? thast why, i had to do it. for example, i had a used copy of LBP, so if i really still want it, im getting the GOTY in exchange, so no loss. then, the saboteur (aside from its freezing bullshit) was given to me free from EA for an ordering/credit card mistake on their part (double charged me), so they sent me that, and the MSRP is $20, so i actually made $20 just now on that...then infamous, i paid $2.50 for from gamestop after screwing them over for them screwing me (they red flagged my account because i got a deal like $2.50) and now its a greatest hit, so if i ever wanna pick it up again, i can get it for $20 at some point from bestbuy....so all in all, i got ridda used games that i didnt care for (didnt like saboteur, wasnt too into LBP, and infamous got old like the villains you gotta kill are fuckin annoyin), for potentially brand new/improved copies of them, or for better games (like 3d dot game heroes or red dead redemption).....$70 from a company i dislike as much as most people dislike gamestop, which im startin to hate almost as much. BUT im happy with the deal
 
I traded in 2 copies of Hot Shots Golf for PS3, 1 copy of Rise Of The Argonauts for PS3 and my vanilla version Little Big Planet(though it was one of the first release ones with the 'banned' song that Muslims had a shitfit over).

I'm supposed to get:

LBP-$30
HSG-$20 each($40 total)
ROTA-$9(was $9 when I sent my trades in, listed as friggin $4 on DealTree's site on BB now, they better give me the price I f'n locked in though)

They received my trades as of Saturday. Then again, shipping from PA to MD isn't that far. It only took 2-3 days or so. Now the anxious wait for them to be verified starts.:roll:

That's why many of us took a chance on DealTree since the values are too insane to ignore.

Some folks were trading in 10 or so copies of Little Big Planet, since it gets $30 for the GOTY or normal edition and both sell for $30 new anymore(even less when you use multiple codes on Gamestop's website to get them used for almost half off).
 
If they actually follow through with the credit, I'll probably give them a small handful of my collection - it'd be nice to have some credit at Best Buy.. I've been thinking about getting a projector for gaming :)
