Hey... I'm kind of strapped for time, so I will only list the major titles and the new titles that I noticed on the list (and re-highlight some awesome deals). The other thread was too much of a mess - this one is the definitive list of the blue light titles with all the correct titles. I will go back through if the demand is there and add in all the titles - for now these are just the important ones.

The other list is only about 50% right at this point, so don't bother linking to it, you are just going to confuse everyone.

The price I list is the price after the 50% off.

Sale runs from Saturday 9/17 to Sunday 9/18.

Xbox:

Chronicles of Riddick - 9.99
Mechassault 2 - 9.99
Midway Arcade Treasures 2 (this is for all three systems, we only had xbox) - 9.99
Porject Snowblind - 9.99 (also on ps2)
007: Everything or Nothing (all three systems) - 9.99
Mortal Kombat Deception: Kollector's Edition *ONLY* - 19.99 (also for PS2)

Rainbow Six 3: Black Arrow - 9.99

Cube:

Viewtiful Joe 2 - 7.50
Mario Party 4 w/ Wavebird - 35.00

Pacman World 2 w/ Pacman Vs - 9.99
Baten Kaitos - 14.99

Mario Kart Super Circuit - 14.99
Super Mario Advance 4: Super Mario Bros 3 - 14.99
Mario vs Donkey Kong - 14.99

Donkey Kong Country - 9.99
Yu-Gi-Oh: Reshef of Destruction - 14.99

Nintendo DS

Feel the Magic - 14.99 (we didn't lower it to 19.99 for some odd reason)
Urbz - Sims in the City - 14.99 (only new DS game)
Zoo Keeper - 9.99
Tiger Woods 2005 and Madden 2005 - 14.99

PS One:

Final Fantasy 7 (GH version) - 7.50

No PSP games whatsoever. The rest of the list is the crap that's just shown up the other 20 times (Baten Kaitos, Jak 2). Like I said earlier, if the demand is there I will put the rest of the stuff up, but all the good games are already listed.

If I didn't add it right now, it is NOT PART OF THE SALE, as all the hot games are listed, there's just another 150 games that are GH / shovelware I didn't list.

The PSOne screen can be used as a portable screen for anything w/AV cable connections...You just have to buy a special cable for it. Radio Shack sells them for about $15, but eBay has them for $6 shipped.
I had the same trouble with Animal Crossing. I asked him to scan it, and he said, "It's $19.99." I asked again, and he just looked at me and repeated, "all player's choice titles are $19.99." Pffft.
You should have got a copy of Smash Bros. then if he said they were all 19.99. :)

I don't understand why so many K-Mart employees give people a hard time on checking the price on something. I never have this problem anywhere else but K-Mart. Don't they realize that the prices can change, and it isn't always what's on the damn sticker they put on it months ago?

The lady gave me shit yesterday telling me the price of MK was 40.00, and Mechassault 2 was 20. There was no one else in the department, and it would have taken her all of two seconds, but she wouldn't do it. I finally just said okay, I'll buy them. Then they rang up at 50% off she had a surprised look on her face. Geeze, you're not omnscient, and you don't know the price of everything in the K-Mart database what a fuckin surprise!

Anyways, thanks for the heads-up Roufuss, at least we know there's one competent K-Mart employee. ;)

Only the non players-choice is on sale the PC isn't. Unless this has changed since the last sells. I have had no luck finding a Non-PC copy though.

Just now got back from my K-Mart run and I'm shocked at what I scored considering my track record. At the Harper Woods, MI store (corner of 9 mile and Harper) I scored MK: Deception Kollectors, Project Snowblind (both for XBox) and GTA. There's still a couple Snowblinds (nestled on the very bottom towards the back) which are marked at $49.99 still, and at least one more GTA at the top of the GBA section and unmarked. Didn't see any more Kollector's Editions though since it was in the back of the very bottom upside down. Also scored Gun Valkeryie(sp?) for $10 marked (an rung up) at $20 but was out on the 50% shelf where the stuff that's not worthwhile usually goes. If anyone goes to that store there's also a bunch of stuff in the bottom of the cases I didn't scour too hard all lined up, but you're going to have to get them to scan just about everything worthwhile.

Oh and on the plus side the woman who helped me was real nice about getting the stuff for me.

So i got brave and finally asked them price check a couple games because my kmart didn't have any signs of a blue light special. And it turns out it was going on.

Metroid Prime - $9.99
Zoo Keeper - $9.99

Got Urbz for the DS and Kareoke Rev. 2 for 14.99 each, and they had like 4 copies of amplitude for 9.99 so i picked up one of those at the Daytona Beach Kmart. Now as for being a real cheap ass, I went to sears right down the street where I work and price matched them plus 10% of the difference and then i used my associate discount. Ill bring the copies I dont need back to Kmart tommorow.

Went to two K-Marts, hoping to find DK Country. No dice. Did get Gradius Galaxies for $8, though.

But the best part was hitting EB and finding Bust-a-Groove 2 for the PS1 for ... $5.99! I about fell over. In a good way. 8)

I've noticed some people are looking for GTA Advance - if K-Mart doesn't have one, check TRU. They are the same price, green-tagged. I know my TRU has a few copies hanging out.

I asked them to ring up the EyeToy (Play) just for the heck of it...$24.99! It appears to be active on the clearence. I decided to get ICO and Feel the Magic. Thanks, OP.

Ok, this is my first post on this site, so I hope this all works out right.

First off, let me just say THANK YOU SO MUCH to Roufuss for informing everyone of these sales. It would've flown right over my head if it wasn't for you.

Next, these are the games I picked up:
Project: Snowblind (Xbox)
Splinter Cell (Xbox)
Grand Theft Auto (GBA)
Mario Vs. Donkey Kong (GBA)
Sonic Battle (GBA)

And lastly, here's a story with a nice little happy ending. So they had a bin marked 50% off in the middle of the electronics department. I picked up Sonic Battle and the two Xbox games from there. Looking through the actual display section, I didn't really see much for selection.

Eventually I did find the last copy of both M vs. DK and GTA, both lying down towards the bottom. I asked the clerk if he could price check both games. He told me that they were both $30. I told him about how I had heard from people online that both games were marked down at their Kmarts, and I asked him again nicely to price check them. He told me that it was his job to do all of this, and he knew for sure that they were as marked, because he'd get in trouble otherwise. I asked him again, and told him to just humor me and price check 'em.

So he did take them and went and checked both of 'em. And guess what? I WAS RIGHT! Oh boy did I want to rub it in, but instead I just said thank you. Then instead of apologizing to me for his mistake, he changed the subject and started talking to me about how he's currently obsessed with World of Warcraft, and we had a small conversation about that.

But yeah, the moral of this story is that no matter what, if you see any of the games that Roufuss listed at your Kmart, marked at full price, MAKE them price check the games. If by some small chance they still have them at full price, then oh well, you were wrong. But if not, well, you just saved yourself a bunch of money and made them look like a complete moron.
anyone know how much the psone/screen combo is?
So far the combo is $80 everywhere I have seen it. I even had it scanned at one Kmart.

Let that just be a lesson to everyone that even if the clerks are less then pleasent being kind to them will get you much further. Remember that most of these people are doing what is usually a pretty crummy job for minimum wage and being horribly abused by 90% of the clientele. Please and thank you alone will get great service from the majority of the workers who are lucky to hear that at all. Remember that's the way you'd want to be treated if you have to take one of those jobs.

the girl that helpe dme was great. She kept on opening the glas door for me and she kept on price chekcing stuff.
thanks for the great dal, I got GTA advance and Megaman for $15 each.
I was going to get mario vs donky kong, but i remembered how much i hated the original one.
And i was going to get metos but it was $30 :(

And the moral is, never believe what a retail employee says, you handled it well, better to be nice than piss him off and get screwed over.

I picked up Zookeeper (DS), Feel the Magic (DS) and Project Snowblind. Really wanted Mario & Luigi Superstar Saga. This was at the Kmart on Fairfax and 4th in Los Angeles across from the Farmer's Market. Sill plenty of Zookeeper and Feel the Magic.

I went by my one local Kmart on Friday, but all they had were really old games (Max Payne, Unreal Championship, Oddworld GBA, etc.). I would have picked up a few items if anything recent was instock, but it was not to be.
Got 2 PS1 screens for 26 bucks each. Mech Assault2, Megaman X8, Megaman X10, Driver 1 and 2 collection for 10 bucks each. Good deals...
Which one did you go to?

I got GTA Advance and Bubble Bobble Old and New (the latter of which I have been wanting for a while) Neither of them were marked as being 50% off, but they came up as so when scanned.

For anyone looking for Mario & Luigi Superstar Saga in the Kansas City area, the Liberty KMart has three copies left. They're marked $29.99, but they ring up at the sale price ($14.99). I also snagged a GC Viewtiful Joe 2 that was marked $39.99 for $7.49.

I want to the Bellingham, WA K-Mart with some friends. They had a decent amount of games (including a non-GH DMC 1 for $40 =P), and my friends picked up MC2 (PS2), MC2 (XB), a PS-one screen (they have 3 left) and a PS-one car charger for $8 (one left).

Thanks OP!

Some insight on kmart: I can vouch for the fact that kmart employees are extremely rude and unhelpful. This is due to the fact that the idiots somewhere in the kmart's higher offices, actually i dont know where but that doesnt matter, do not update the system with the correct prices, i have NEVER had a problem with getting the correct price, this goes for any item at any other store besides kmart, however at kmart every time i go in there to buy a clearance/sale item it NEVER rings up as the correct price at all, they also seem to run out of whatever they put in their ads lickety split, you better be at the door at store opening if you actually want to buy something. Half of the time the problem is they never get the correct items for the sale in so they are technically advertising for something they do not have in stock even before the sale starts. The kmart flyers are nationwide i believe so certain stores may not have what you are looking for. I have learned not to waste my time with kmart because they never have what i am looking for, if i am looking for something in the sale ad, then it wont ring up as the price in the ad and this requires a 15 min price check process while they send someone to make sure that the item you want to buy is actually on sale.

Not to mention kmart has much higher prices on mostly everything in their store compared to other retail stores, i live in an area where there is every retail chain within about a 15min stretch, kmart ranks last on the list of places to go and get stuff at.

I will also say that kmart MARKS UP prices at some points, i will just say that they used to have a ton of clearance toys there and since they didnt sell they marked up the prices, i dont know what the logic is in that but whatever, if it doesnt sell at the lower price its not like its gonna sell at a higher price. I believe all the clearance junk from years past got sent to all the stores that were closing though, so you wont see too much older clearance junk in kmarts, although that could vary by location.

They do sell older products for insane amounts of money, some dept's just dont update their stock until their old stock sells, then when something goes on clearance its like, a whole 10% off.

Kmart obviously wants to get rid of those games because the prices are actualy ringing up in the register this time, which frankly is a shock to me.

So there isnt any price tags or anything right? And the employees have no clue whats going on right? (Asked about 50yo employee if they have any sales/bluelight, she says no, whered you get that info from, I say online, and she tells me not everything online is true. I stood there in disbelief, cause everything online is true.(suprised she knew what online ment))

Not to mention I couldnt find one Mecha2 or Chronicles of Riddick

It is no problem... I just have a store manager who does a hell of a job, and wants my dept. to be the best it can be, so he makes sure I have the lists and everything I need for these sales. I pass on all this information to you guys because a) I love the site and love to give back and b) it helps me and all my neighboring stores clear out excess crap... this sale isn't really advertised by K-Mart for some odd reason.

You'd be shocked if you came in, because I have every single 50% title (that I have in stock) neatly organized in a 5 tier shelf... it is a pretty awesome job, if I do say so myself.

And, if for some reason one of the games I listed isn't coming up 50% off, then there is the very small chance the store did not automatically update the prices to reflect the sale. In this case, go for a manager or store manager, and have them pull up all the signage for Electronics for the video game dept and the list should be in there.

If anyone wants to play their Mario and Luigi Superstar saga for a little bit and then sell it to me used and complete for 15 via paypal let me know PM me.

Just stuff like Finding Nemo, NBA Street 2, NFL Street, Final Fantasy X, Ghost Recon 1... you aren't going to find anything decent or recent, and they come up 9.99

I could have gotten it new if I only waited 3 more days :/

CONGRATS TO THAT! I bought it a long time ago for 30+... man... GOOD FIND!

Hey, I just picked up the screen, and just wanted to know, does it work with both types of Ps1s? I mean, the big type and the small type. Please let me know! Thanks in advance. (Btw, I just checked, and this sale isn't online. Just in case anybody was checking.) Again, thanks for posting the list.

Thanks OP and all others who contributed.
I got
Mario Party 4 w/controller
PoP:WW
Baten Kaitos
M vs. DK
GTA Advance

I know the list says $9.99, but mine rang up $7.49. The link below is to a picture of my receipt. It's a little fuzzy because I had to use my webcam to take it. Note that the UPC is 01338820016. This is Viewtiful Joe 2. But thanks for questioning my ability to read the screen at the checkout. ;)

And thanks for the head's up, Roufuss. None of the stores here had any signs up so your list was majorly welcome!

A lot of stores recently dropped VJ2 to $14.99, so it appears KMart did as well (since $7.49 is 50% off $15).
