Hey... I'm kind of strapped for time, so I will only list the major titles and the new titles that I noticed on the list (and re-highlight some awesome deals). The other thread was too much of a mess - this one is the definitive list of the blue light titles with all the correct titles. I will go back through if the demand is there and add in all the titles - for now these are just the important ones.

The other list is only about 50% right at this point, so don't bother linking to it, you are just going to confuse everyone.

The price I list is the price after the 50% off.

If I didn't add it right now, it is NOT PART OF THE SALE, as all the hot games are listed, there's just another 150 games that are GH / shovelware I didn't list.

You should bring the list, the games are not tagged; my Kmart happened to have an inventory list sitting in the case, which they let me browse (after waiting over 10 minutes for an employee to show up in the department, then another 10 for them to return so I could actually BUY the games...) I ended up with Red Dead Revolver and Soul Calibur 2 (both XB) for 9.99 each. I was also looking for kill.switch, but they didn't have it. Amazingly, they had no capability of checking stock at other stores. The kid didn't even have a way to check stock at his own store! No wonder Kmart is going down the tubes; with the kind of "customer service" I received, they deserve it.

Thanks. Just got back and sure enough it rang up $9.99. I forgot to check for Feel the Magic so I might go back.
 
Hmm, grabbed most everything I wanted over Labor Day. Suppose I'll go in a few and see if I can find VJ2 now that I've got a Cube.
 
Picked up Mech Assault 2 (XBOX) from the Saugus, MA K-Mart.

Our K-Mart no longer puts out the bins of clearanced games, but we also didn't see much there.

The case at the register had a bunch of games stacked up every which way, making it impossible to see what games were actually there. We asked the kid to see if he had Dead or Alive 3 and stressed multiple times that it was "a silver case" (PH). He was just lifting a few games here and there and tossing others out of the way. We had to keep asking him to "look over there" or "check under there". We even asked if we could help him look for it (as we knew what the cover looked like) and he said "no it's against policy". We were sure they had several copies (we passed on them before), but he was unwilling to really look through for us.

The K-Mart experience is almost always a frustrating one.
 
i got VJ2 GC for 7.50 and pokemon channel for 10$, the games were in the cabinet and the clerk had no clue. But he did help me without a hassle.

There is a way to check stock in our own store, it's actually pretty simple. You probably just got a part timer that dosen't really get access to that type of stuff, or just dosen't know / care.

And i'll tell you what, it is AMAZING how much shit the casual gamer buys because it is on sale. I have never seen so many copies of Enter the Matrix and old 2005 sports games being moved before in my life - people see that this stuff is 50% off, and just start grabbing games... most people have bought between 6 - 12 games in this sale.

As for myself, I bought Dead or Alive 3, Rainbow Six 3: Black Arrow, and Return of the King (ps2).
 
Fire Emblem rang up $18.00 and Warioware Inc. rang up $9.99. Don't know what they were last sale, but...whozah!

Also the PSone combo screen/system rang up $75-ish, but didn't really feel it was worth it. Psone individual screens still ringing up $26.00!!!

18.00 is clearance, since it ends in double 0's... I don't have any fire emblem's to double check. It's not part of the sale, though.

Went to three K-Marts and saw nothing new added. Just picked up some leftovers that I missed during the last sale when I was out of town. You'll be extremely lucky to find any of the good Nintendo first-party GBA games anywhere, as almost nobody has posted finding them in stock.

It's $35 after the 50% off, and apparently it is selling pretty well at that price already... I wouldn't expect it to drop any further. I had three of them when I did my first Blue Light sale, sold all three bundles by the end of the night... to alot of people, a Wavebird is $30 anyways, so it's like getting a game for $5.

K-Mart takes FOREVER in dropping their prices, as well.

Nothing new was added to the list and the sale ended today.
 
Is this still going on? Today I picked up Metal Slug Advance for $10 and would like to go back for some more games, so are the games listed on the front page going to be at those prices?

Beats me, my store manager just got back from vacation today so I am unsure if this applies to Blue Light games again (since I usually get the memos and information from him) My list has never had Metal Slug Advance and my store hasn't carried it for months, anyways (I bought the last copy for $18 after discount, I figure I wasn't going to find it any cheaper, found it hidden in the case while doing some cleaning lol).

It's a possibility it's on a new list, but the last time I got a list nothing was in any sort of order whatsoever, and it looked like the same stuff on sale the last two times. I'm betting the games are 50% off again, because alot of the other stuff that usually is blue lighted is on sale for Halloween weekend.

I'm not wheeling out the cart again though, because the rest of the games I have are shit and it's a pain trying to keep an eye on the cart (thieves) and do my work at the same time. I'm really hoping K-Mart is going to compile a new list pretty soon, but I highly doubt it.

Went by there again and it was still marked at $70. Had them price check it as well to no avail. I'll keep waiting as my local K-Mart has about 4-5 of these still.
 
I think the sale is back this weekend. In today's paper, K-Mart has a Veteran's Day sale ad and it says "50% off select video games" Nov. 11 thru Nov. 13. Probably the same stuff from the last few sales though.
 
I'd be tempted to go check my local K-Mart for some of the games listed by the OP... were these "blue light" special games visibly marked down or is the mark down at register?

YMMV, but at mine, none of the prices were marked, they rang up at the register.
 
It's been around two or three months since they added anything new to the list. So maybe this time they will. Especially now that they need to clear shelf space for christmas titles and xbox 360.

It varies by store. From what most people encounter, most stores do NOT have the games listed or in a special area, but they will ring up at 50% off if scanned. Very few stores seem to put the 50% off games in a seperate area and even those stores don't seem to put every one on the list there.

It's best to know what's 50% off before you go so you can get it from the case. Print out the UPCs and scan them in the store to make it easier.

BTW, finding any of those GBA games will be extremely lucky since many K-Marts sold out months ago.
 
If we do have another sale, can we please make a new thread for it?

Having the same thread for the same sale in a different month is confusing to deal with, and hard to dig through.

If there's another sale, someone can make another thread.
 
My Kmart was having the sale today. Lots of new games on sale I had never seen on sale before. I picked up The Punisher (PS2), Def jam Fight for New York (XBOX), The Incredibles (XBOX), and harry Potter Azkaban (PS2) for 10 smackers each.
 
I think all four of those had been on sale before.

I'll hit it up in a half hour after work. But without a list, it's going to be a bitch to talk the desk jockey to scan a bunch of stuff. ANd the last time they had a print out list was spring.
 
Could the Rouffuss or mod update the title of the thread. It would be very helpful, and maybe the list if there is new stuff.

If there isn't any new stuff this time around then I"m not going. My KImart has been out of the majority of stuff since August or so, and last time I was there (this week for the Darth Tater) they had almost nothing that is on the list.

Went to one Kmart and they had crap out, but that doesn't mean anything. There could have been things behind the glass on sale that I didn't know about. Clerk said everything on sale was out in the bin.

Yaeh, I agree with you. This one's a bit bloated and has lasted two or three Kmart deals so it might be tough for new people who may start looking through the entirety of the thread.
