There weren't to many items to speak of, but I believe this is like the Target clearance thread where it is per store. The items that I saw were:

Arc the Lad: Twilight of the Spirits-PS2-$15
War of the Monsters-PS2-$15
Perfect Dark-N64-$5 (major YMMV)
NCAA Gamebreaker 2003-PS2-$15

All of these were at the Las Vegas K-Mart.

Edit: title changed to K-Mart Clearance thread since so many people have said the have many of the same deals.

Screw K-mart. The way they conduct business is not a surprise that they went through a bankruptcy before. They got out of the bankruptcy and things haven't changed for the better. Just hope they bankrupt again to put them out of their misery.
I picked up Alter Echo for $2.99 tonight for PS2. My wife thought I was nuts!
I scooped up a couple of PS1 memory cards (Performance brand with storage case--size of a CD) for 70 cents each. I know people prefer 1st party but if you need an extra--these are cheap. Also saw $10 Ico.

Anybody who goes to Kmart . . . look for SimCity4. Its been found for $1.99 . . . I'd trade a TRU or CC game for it.

All I saw today was Worl Tour Soccer 2003 for 415 which really isn't that much of a clearance, but i've heard that next week it should be $7.

I picked up Eternal Darkness (GC) for $4.99 and Bloodrayne (XB) for $2.99. You can't beat two good games for the price of lunch!

Northern DE, Limestone Rd (I think it's considered Wilmington).

I got them earlier this week and they still had 2 copies of ED left at that time. I got the last Bloodrayne.

Hey Josef, did they have any duplicates of any of the other games you picked up??

I'm down here in Dover, and we're cleaned out.

If you could pick up any extra GC games for cheap, I'd really appreciate it.

Thanks.
Does Zelda Collector's Edition for $0.00 count as clearance?
Where'd you pick up that?!!!!!??? Were there any left???
^I'm thinking he picked it up somewhere in NC.

Just a guess though.
You are correct. There were 2 left, and they didn't seem too keen on me taking any more than 1. I saw it at the bottom of the case and asked about it. Guy scanned it, came up with nothing, went to mgmt, came back and handed it to me saying it was given away with a promotion and the promo was over, that they probably got extras or someone just didn't take theirs. Methinks he (or someone in mgmt) has them other 2 copies right now. I felt kinda bad going in, getting a free game, and leaving. He was even nice enough to bag it for me. :)

Just for this, regardless if they only let me have one, I now really like Kmart.

yeah - K-mart's the only place I've ever seen it new. I guess they are reprinting it though, for the sequel promo.
Wow The_Continental, that's a pretty good deal since I haven't been able to find that game new anywhere.
Yaeh, that's when I'm planning on getting it whenever one of the stores around me starts to allow preordering on it.

My Kmart blows. It's dirty, it has rude employees, and they NEVER have clearences. I might double check tomorrow though, but I doubt it big time.

At mine, the games are never displayed as clearance. I had to spend 15 minutes looking for an employee that can price scan - and then I just scanned everythng there. Shadow Hearts was the only hit.

I don't wana scan every game, especially since there is never anybody back there to help you.

I did find a Pro Action Replay for PS2 in the clearence section in the middle of the store for 15 bucks, but I don't want that. I already have a codebreaker for PS2.

Felt like taking a drive yesterday (only K-Mart still open is about 20 minutes from my house), so I headed to K-Mart. They had about 20 copies of Ico for PS2 at $9.99, a copy of Arc The Lad: Twilight for PS2 for $14.99, and a copy of Starsky & Hutch for Xbox (no price tag).

Also, there was an almost-storewide clearance sale on various items, a 50% off sale, I believe.

They only got out of bankruptcy because they closed down half of their stores.

No kidding, to get my Zelda CE I had to go searching in sporting goods. The same guy was doing electronics, sporting goods, AND lawn & garden!

Yaeh, but you still got it. I would love to find a copy of that game for cheap, I'm at the end of my rope and i'll even shell out now $50.

Certain stores are closing because Home Depot bought the some of thier stores. Do a yahoo searchto find the locations. The one at Jacksonville Beach has stuff at 30-50 % off, but then again Devil May Cry was still priced at $50, so ask the pimpilly faced store lacky to price match the games you want.

My Kmart finds to date are Eternal Darkness ($4.99), World Rally Championship ($2.99), Outlaw Golf ($2.99), NHL HITZ 2003 (2.99), Gamecube Extension cables (89 cents), Okage (9.99), and Madden 2003 (2.99)

Because you bought the game or went to K-mart to get it?

You people are lucky.

My k-mart marks up retail prices 150% - 500% of the original retail price at release.

I am dead serious, no lie.

They have the original Delta Force PC game at my local k-mart for $80. When it came out it retailed at $20, and it is NOT a rare game.
All the games are like that.
They don't sell much.

This is corporate stupidity at its finest.

Well it's time to bring this thread back to life, I went to my Kmart recently and they had some new stuff on clearance

Ico-PS2-9.99
Shaun Palmer's Pro Snowboarder-PS2-9.99

Dave Mirra Freestyle BMX-Xbox-4.99

Recently reduced farther Arc the Lad: Twilight of the Spirits-PS2-down from 16.99 to 9.99.

Nothing too great but this thread should continue. I went to a few more Kmarts this time and it seems that more of them are starting to clearance out more stuff and it isn't as much YMMV this time since they mostly had the same stuff.

War of the Monsters must have went down farther since I picked it up for 16.99 awhile ago and thought that that was an awesome deal for it siince I hadn't seen it anywhere cheapre.

Earlier in the thread someone said they got Bloodrayne for 2.99. Any chance this was the PS2 version, and that there are any left?

Wow. I feel for you.

My local K-Mart isn't THAT bad, but they tend to sell games for $55. No, not just new releases... EVERY game. About a month ago (last time I went), they had Silent Hill 2 for PS2, $50. Not the Greatest Hits version either. They still had at least 7. Needless to say they don't do much business in their electronics department- there are still a few N64 games lurking around (I think they even have a single copy of Pilotwings 64, still at a grand $60).

Oh, now I'm definitely going to look for the extension cables at my local K-mart! I'm bongoaddicted and need a longer chord...
