K-mart, Wal-Mart ad deals

thundarr

CAGiversary!
Hey everybody, I noticed no one posts K-mart ads in here anymore so I thought I'd catch everyone up on the latest. Also, a little Wal-Mart ditty some may be interested in.

K-Mart
EA PSP games - $30
DJ Hero complete set - $104.99
Rock Band 2 complete - $139.99
Get Rock Band Beatles for $10 w/ Rock Band 2 complete purchase

Wal-Mart
Hannah Montana PSP 300 giftset - $139.99

This might be good for a girlfriend/ wife or if you just like pink. You could always skin it for such a cheap price.

Stupid Wal-Mart didn't have the PSP. I need to find an ad, and then somebody who will price match with out calling to confirm stock.

I usually post the Kmarts ones, but they are terrible most of the time.
I really don't understand how K-Marts are still in business.
This.

Thanks for the OP, I forgot all about the 'Marts!

Most of them are already closed down. While they don't have too many spectacular deals, I see some of them out in the ghetto here

Benefit of KMart (layaway)...Sears too, FYI - only reason they are in business. AND, occasionally they will meet competitors prices. However, call ahead for quantity available....

It seems to me that Kmart is stuck in this kind of time warp...almost as if time froze & they were still in business. Most Kmart's I've been in have been poorly organized. Without the Kmart/Sears merger, I think Kmart's would be long gone. I do have fond memories of buying video games there as a kid in the 80's/early 90's.

As I'm sure a lot of you guys here are aware, you can find some awesome clearance deals on games @ Kmart. A couple of years ago I found Viewtiful Joe for $7 brand new. Well worth the price. That game is so under-rated. I really wish I didn't trade it in @ Crapstop.

The funny thing is that my Kmart still has Viewtiful Joe 1 and 2 for $7 (Elizabethtown, Ky). There must be another CAGer here, though, as their clearance is always picked clean.

My motivation to shop at K-Mart severely declined when all the in-store Little Caesar's Pizza food courts closed down years back. I really only ever go there anymore to look for discounted games, and each spring I might visit their gardening section once. Some K-Marts still have a kind of charm that Wal-Mart lost when it bulldozed all its stores and replaced them with cold, lifeless Super Wal-Marts, but they're just not that competitive.

Really? I was living in MI about 6 months ago & I was @ a Kmart not long before I moved & there were Little Caesar food courts inside of them.

Then again Kmart & Little Caesar's both got started & are based in Metro Detroit. Little Caesar's pizza kits are SO MUCH tastier than what you can buy in stores.

I live in OH and I haven't seen a K-Mart with a Little Caesar's in it since the 90s. There are still a handful of stand-alone LC's around here, but I figured that whatever contract they had with K-Mart expired or they just weren't doing great business. Must just depend on the store/geographic location, then.

If I'm ever in MI I'll make sure to stop at every K-Mart I see :D

Ours in central Kentucky still has a Little Caesar's in it. I actually worked there (at K-Mart) when they opened and got really burned out on their pizza. Their breadsticks do still kick ass, though.

bread's done
