karaoke software for PC?

Thinking of throwing a karaoke party at my place and wanted to know if you guys had ideas for Karoke software?

I know there's stuff out there - but is there a cheap good solution?

Shit seems expensive...

There are some open source karaoke programs on Source Forge but I don't know if any of them will meet your needs.

Try one of the versions of Ultrastar, its like Singstar or Lips

Agreed. FYI, though: Most available songs are like Singstar's (with vocals), and not vocal-less (Karaoke), but if you look hard enough, you can find some versions like that; e.g., Aha's take on me.

There are also ways of removing or softening the Vocal track of your mp3s using Audacity if you want to as well, alot of tutorials on youtube
