That's interesting. It seems to absolve The Governor and the Mayor of all blame. I don't see that. While it's definitively the case that Bush dropped the ball (reading that... "dropped the ball" doesn't really convey the level of failure, but I don't know how to better describe it.) I'm curious who thinks the local officials failed their constituents as well.

Things like that tend to occur when using highly biased sources.

Don't get me wrong, I think everything was fouled up big time and everyone carries some weight for it including Bush and especially FEMA, but it strikes me as odd that there's not a single update on what someone like the Governor is doing during and after the storm hit.
