Kid uses a videogame move from "Mortal Kombat" to kill his friend

The article was obviously written by an uninformed hack. I mean jesus christ if you are going to blame a videogame for something violent happening at least get the name right. :roll:
 
I wish the kids would have finished themselves off as well, easily influenced fucks...either easily influenced or trying to get the blame off them. Either way I hope they choke.
 
Wow, they are barely getting Mortal Kombat 1 over there??!! Imagine once they get Katamari Damacy!!! Kid's will be rolling up thumbtacks and cars!

Damn that is fucked up. And these kids were 13-16 years old. Way old enough to know better. I find it a little unfair that the two 13 year old possible murderers were released since under Latvian law you have no legal responsibility until you are 14. Damn. The 14+ kids could get 20-life. The 13 year olds get to go home to mommy the same day.

Also this penultimate paragraph was a little off:

That's pretty fucked up how they threw his body away and shit. Of course, I can't really say what I would do if I accidentally killed my friend, but I don't have to because I'm not stupid to ever do such a thing.

First off: This was in Latvia. I have no idea how Latvia rates games, or if they do at all. That could be a moot point.

That said, I feel like I'm one of the only ones who doesn't see it as a laughing matter. A kid died - that's not funny.

I think this is another case of "blame games for issues" here, and one more that shouldn't exist. The kids were too young to be unsupervised, yet too old to not know what would happen. I'm thinking that the parents are more to blame here. Even though I don't know much about Latvian culture, they should have taught their children that attacking people like this - even for "fun" - isn't acceptable.
