I was at my local Fry's (in other words, YMMV), and I saw the Xbox Live 12-Month, Premium Gold Packs were selling for $57.90!

In case you don't know, that includes:

-1 year Xbox Live ($50)
-$20 off any Xbox 360 Game ($20) - mail-in rebate
-1 Headset ($20)
-Bankshot Billiards for XBL Arcade ($15)
-200 Microsoft Points ($2.50)

Thats a $107.50 value for $57.90!

The $20 rebate expired last June. The kit had an MSRP of $80 when new and that box was clearanced to $36 last winter at K-Mart. Thank you for posting, but a killer deal this is not.

Oh, BTW, you actually lowballed the billards game. It sells for 1200 points or $15 in the marketplace.

The sticker on the one I saw at Fry's said "Exp. 6/30/2007."

Thx for the catch. I just figured it was $5. I mean, who the hell would pay $15 for Bankshot Freakin' Billiards anyway?

You misread it. The Billiards and 200 points expire on that date, the rebate was a year earlier.

not to argue with a CAG vet, as i respect my elders, but the exp date i was looking at was on the $20 sticker itself, not the side of the box where the exp date is for the BB & 200 pts.

I just got that same box as a gift recently and I can confirm that the coupon's expiration date is, indeed, 6/30/2006.
 
Yeaa..appreciate the post..but I got this around 3 weeks ago for $30 and the coupon was expired.
 
Looks like a new bundle for this year. Not a bad price since the $20 rebate is equal to the $45 or $35 clearance price at most stores.

Anyways, this would only be a good deal if it were the vision pack. Most stores sell this for 49.99-59.99. Not to mention this is on clearance at most targets for $15. (Most stores are out of stock by now so YMMV)

There is not. Its not valid. So you save $13 but lose out on a $20 rebate. Skip this dud and get the newest package.
