I own the 7.1 Sony headsets and I'm pretty satisfied, be warned it does interfere with your WiFi connectivity. I use a netgear WiFi adapter on my PS3 to go from WiFi to Wired and it was consistently dropping the signal when using the headset. My solution was to move the adapter a couple feet away and it works like a charm now.

Glad I already got my copy for $15 from gamefly; the game is great so far.
