As mentioned, Amazon has the DS Kingdom Hearts game for $23.99 + FSSS. This deal is from Amazon itself and not from their marketplace. Great deal considering most places still have it for $30+ (since Square Enix games seem to drop in price slower than other games).

As someone who recently played and beat this game, I'd say it's definitely worth the price.

Thank you, I've been wanting this game for some time. I ordered from Newegg since I didn't feel like finding something else to get the FSSS at amazon.

This is why there is really no reason to even buy games anymore day 1.. within 6 months they will be on sale for even cheaper .....

still got this and probally only put less then 5 hours into it

Is this a complaint? If it is... you just solved your own problem. Don't buy games Day 1 if you want them for a cheaper price. I only buy games that I truly support on Day 1, games like No More Heroes, Bayonetta, Dead Rising, Lost Planet, MadWorld etc... Will those games lower in price sometime shortly after launch? Probably. But those games rock and I want to support the companies as much as I can.

/nod I just plan ahead that I will be playing everything a few months to a year behind. Yeah you have to wait a year but you KNOW those price drops are coming and coming hard. Only stuff I get day 1 is stuff that I think will become rare/collectible like Demon Souls or other Collectors Editions or stuff like SMG2 that amazon or some other retailer offers up huge incentives on.

I'm a Kingdom Hearts fan, but this game has an incredibly slow start/tutorial (almost akin to KH2, but IMO, worse). Literally takes ~3 hours before you really start having fun (most of the beginning is dialogue, spurts of 3-5 min of game play, followed by more dialogue).

Once the worlds start opening, the magic/equipment/combat systems (finally) start to show themselves.

Square seems to have a hard on for long tutorials....for some reason they keep getting longer and longer and longer!

This is pretty much spot on. I bought Bayonetta, Mad World, BlazBlue on day one. I wait on mostly anything else. The $15 dollar map pack for MW2 doesn't bother me as much since I paid $40 for the game in stead of the $60 at launch.

$25 actually. That's when I got my copy.

Yes and no. You could still easily have fun with the game considering its combat system. However, if you've never played a Kingdom Hearts game before, you'll likely find the story completely and utterly confusing. I had only played the first KH, and I got pretty lost at times. I ended up consulting spoilers for the three games to make any sense of what was going on. Still, I think the gameplay more than makes up for it. It took me nearly 60 hours to complete the game (although I did a lot of optional missions and challenges), and I still pick it up from time to time.

You know, I would start with the first Kingdom Hearts at least. Its one of my favorite games and really cheap now of course.
