Thanks for the head up. Although nothing good in there, its nice to know someone may get a Wii there as well.

Although I'm definitely not trying to get a Wii from them again. I was number 3 in a line there on launch day (they said they would be getting four) and then when the manager came in, he said they only had 2.
 
Ill try to go to the 24/7 kmart near me around 12 to see if they have them in since no one shops there...Then if not ill line up at 5 at best buy
 
So after being #20 at my Target, which only got 17 (so much for 3 to a case). I stopped by KMart which was right next door.

So limited quantities at my local K-Mart turned out to be "Zero" :roll:

I asked if it was deceptive business practices to advertise something which they don't have ANY of, and the woman in the games section said they could still get a shipment sometime this week in which case they'd be ok.

However the woman at the customer service desk said that they were told by corporate that they wouldn't get any more Wii's until around New Years, and said that it is Nintendo's fault since they are having "manufacturing problems" (definitely rings of BS since I'm sure we'd have all read that somewhere reliable, and I don't consider lack of/limited production lines "manufacturing problems").

So anyways, a more vocal person might be able to pry a raincheck out of K-Mart in Bloomington, IN (east end) for not having any systems.

Limited Quantities. Sorry, no rain checks.

Sucks that they would advertise having some and not getting any at all.
 
Actually there was a screw up in shipping the games to K-Mart so many stores didn't receive them in time. If there were ads in your local area and the store didn't have any, you can expect that a shipment will arrive in the next few days.
 
Yeah I saw the "no rainchecks" in the ad as well, so that is why I said a "vocal" person might be able to get one. I think for any reasonable person "limited quantities" implies "at least one" as opposed to "none." Definitely a questionable distinction, but anyways my local K-Mart said they would put them out on shelves as soon as they get them so I suppose people can try calling them perodically throughout the week.

Thankfully, my father was able to get me one at Gamestop.

Good luck to anyone else still looking for a Wii.
