Update: Submitting Feb./Mar. offers as SYWR promotions. Will post as soon as they are approved. At the end of Mar. the coupon issue will be fixed and we'll go back to normal. For Feb . SYWR offers, there will be limit 2 per customer (the SYWR card will limit bonuses systematically).

As of Feb 6th, to earn SYWR bonuses a member has to have a valid email address on their profile and opted in before purchasing an item with a bonus offer. This has been communicated to members through SYWR emails and in the circular along with new signage indicating to receive bonus offers they have to have a valid email address on file and opted in to receive email. Opting in to receive SYWR bonus offers is not too bad: .

I think I missed the boat with this one actually. It is selling well as the competition but I didn't want to take a risk on it in all stores.

My kmart had it in the case for all systems when I was getting TDU2 on Tuesday.

Only due still being over invested in the original sku's. Previous buyers way over bought the sku before I came on. I just couldn't support more Gears at the moment.

Are any retailers carrying them? I don't really know much about them as far as pricing or where to get them. I only recently decided to look them up since I have seen so many people talking about them and I kind of want one.
 
They might appear in retailers, but it will probably be a few months. Razer put them up for pre-order and they sold out in 2 days. Their release day was Feb 28th I believe. Amazon has them up, but no date.

The prices were $40 for regular and $50 for the "Tournament Edition" which has adjustable tension on the thumbsticks

I'm excited to see the new clearance list! :D

If you're referring to needing 4 controllers for You Don't Know Jack, it does support the Big Button Controllers from Scene It. I'm going to pick up my copy this afternoon :D

If I redeem my SYWR points to buy MVC3 next week, will I still receive the pomo points ($25 worth)? It is because I have about $60 worth points saved on my account. Thanks in advance.

wth I heard it does not support them. There's a thread here somewhere...if it actually does though Im in since I already have Scene It that'd be perfect. Ok nevermind I was just reading a different thread on gamespot that says they do. Grr. Well whatever I'm buying it I guess. $30 is a great price for it.

Why wouldn't you?
You get the points for buying the game. You are buying the game, with reward points.

I mean, if that is a rule, can't use points to get points, then that is pretty rediculous, but I've never seen anything like that mentioned.

The bonus has nothing to do with any redemptions of points; have at it! :)
 
Quick pulse check...is anyone interested in the Move Sharp Shooter Sony is coming out with? I saw it demoed with KZ3 and it definitely is not for me, not sure I see the appeal unless it was for a rail shooter.

I am, I have been waiting for a solid gun peripheral for the Move since it came out. All the ones out so far all have different issues depending on the game you are playing, this is the only First party one coming out thus far, and the only one that the move controllers actually plug into, allowing them to remap the buttons to the buttons on the gun itself.

The $40 price tag is a bit steep, but it does come out the same day Killzone 3 does so maybe a nice deal could be worked out with a combo? :)

its pretty cool once you get used to it. it would throw me off because when i move my arm the gun moves too. its nice though once you adapt. i played it @ CES in Vegas
 
hey SHC, do you think it would be wise to create a new thread for the clearance games when you announce it? I don't think I could take a bunch of yahoos coming in here to bitch about clearance titles which would never have satisfied their $5 minds.

Personally I'm just hoping Fire Emblem wii hit that list at $20 or $30 so I can snatch up a new copy for my collection.

Not really. I mean, $40? I honestly doubt it'll be a huge seller.

That said, if there was some sort of crazy deal on it with KillZone 3 or something, I'd consider it.

That's probably the only way it'd get moving. Plastic peripherals seem to rarely take off like that. A special deal with it and KZ3 or Move would probably help, but personally, I'm not interested.
 
The Sharp Shooter is $10 less than the MSRP for a Move controller. That just seems crazy to me. When I first saw a picture of it, I thought "That looks kinda cool" but the price just kills any interest I have for it.

ahh i was actually thinking that same thing. GOW is every where every time i check out the kmarts around the area. probably some type of deal with the new GOW should give you some shelf space :)

i was actually excited for this but at $40 i'm not so sure anymore... will kmart carry it? probably buy an extra copy of killzone and use the savings to off set the price...

I'll post the list here but I'm sure Kaydigi will still operate the clearance thread. I don't want to take that away.
 
Josh or Stockboy... any details on the PS3 Sharpshooter??? Comes out same day as killzone 3. will any stores be stocking this $40 peripheral? And if so any sale on it? coupons? points? if bought with killzone 3?

I can only imagine what it will look like.
I got into Kmart clearance about May last year, so a bit late in the 'old clearance' life cycle and I was pretty upset when it disappeared and then came back how it was, but I get why games aren't going to be going for $5 and I got over it. I got some great deals back then and I am happy I did.

There are quite a few people though who haven't gotten over it. And they are gonna have field day tearing apart the list no matter what it looks like I imagine.

It would appear as though they are trying to gauge whether it would be worth stocking which so far most people seem to agree that it is an overpriced piece of plastic.
 
limited release. In my area there are like 6 kmarts and only one is getting 3 copies of the CE for marvel. I think it helped if you emailed stock boy a few months ago, then you were more likely to get some of the 800 they had to send out nationwide.

Nope I'm definitely not interested. Of course I don't like motion controls as they are at all.

I don't want to sound like I am begging for a deal, but is there any chance that GTA: complete might end up seeing another deal anytime soon? I bought my PS3 like 2 weeks after it was on sale and my sister is getting one in the next week or so. If I had an inclination that I might have ended up buying another one I would have grabbed it when it was on sale, but now that I do I def. don't want to spend 40 dollars on it.

Also I know I can't be the only new triple owner out there. They keep throwing out those gift cards deals and I resisted once, but temptation got the best of me and I am sure it got to others as well.
 
I know you're looking for a deal but GTA Complete for $40 is already a pretty sweet deal if you plan on playing through all of that.

I'd say jump on it unless josh has a specific deal in mind. With no rockstar or open world type games on the horizon I'd say you're better off just going for it.

lol. You're right about this Confoosious, but we all know he'd only be redirecting criticisms. That is, he's sure to get a flood of complaints about what is/isn't on the list, the prices, and the length of time it takes for individual stores to activate the markdowns.

Someone please keep a running count of how many times people ask when the prices go into effect.

I have copies for every other system so I don't need it, I just want it. I can wait out a deal.

So when do the prices go into effect? I remember when the last list was posted it required the stores to reset the registers or something to that effect. I remember several people asking for customer service people to scan games with the gun (rather than at the register) and the gun would indicate a drop was ready.

Thanks for confirming it! It's because some retailers, e.g. BBuy, TRUS, etc., do not usually honor new pomo/reward points on a purchase when reward checks/coupons are used on the purchase . I guess they look at it as "double-dipping." :roll:
 
did josh ever confirm what someone needs to do to OP IN for the SYWR bonus. I know that atlantis guy said something, but Id like it confirmed from josh himself.

You are cracking me up; I am sure that these types of questions and comments will occur. I'd say just let them be. The list only represents a first step anyway.

As far as the "list" is concerned it is over 1k titles so I am just trying to find a way to post it with the formatting I want without typing it. Same as the UPC list issue.
