Update: Submitting Feb./Mar. offers as SYWR promotions. Will post as soon as they are approved. At the end of Mar. the coupon issue will be fixed and we'll go back to normal. For Feb . SYWR offers, there will be limit 2 per customer (the SYWR card will limit bonuses systematically).

As of Feb 6th, to earn SYWR bonuses a member has to have a valid email address on their profile and opted in before purchasing an item with a bonus offer. This has been communicated to members through SYWR emails and in the circular along with new signage indicating to receive bonus offers they have to have a valid email address on file and opted in to receive email. Opting in to receive SYWR bonus offers is not too bad: .

4. Scroll down to contact preferences

It's an interesting promo, that is worthwhile. We all know there will be tons of content for this game and getting a $50 card for $20 is nice. Though I do agree about the points train for some people.

If you guys somehow get the Signature edition, I'll jump on this deal. I'd probably jump on it either way, but that would help.
 
The DA2 pts offer is great. Considering the game is gonna get raepd with a bunch of extraneous DLC... an extra 4000 for the price of 1600 is great.
 
Hey Josh I emailed you yesterday evening about my not receiving DQVI points. I uploaded the picture of the game/receipt I took onto imageshack and included a link to the picture. Today I can't seem to access that link. Should I just shoot the info to you again and include the picture file?
 
I would think maybe 10,000-15,000 SYWR points + a $20 PSN/1600 XBL points card would be a good match for DA2. Win win? Not sure how hard it would be to do that type of a promo though.
 
liking the offers for march but crysis 2 and dragon age 2 not getting any discounts seems kinda of a let down to be honest. i would rather see that kind of promotion with other games but was hoping for either points or a discount. having to pay 80 upfront is still nicer then paying 110 but some people just don't have that much to spend upfront. i can understand dragon age 2 as it will probably have alot of content but crysis 2 shouldn't have much content in the future. either way thanks for the savings! :)

I just received approval on 10k points as well plus the save $30. That will probably be as high as I can go.

Though, this offer definitely will have a limit 1 or 2 to prohibit resellers taking advantage of it too much.
 
Crysis deal is fucking hotfire.. using the points from MvC3 for Crysis and getting a $50 PSN card for $20?! HELL YES.

Can I get two cards for $40?

Awesome, 10,000 points makes me happy for DA2 :) You're killing me Josh, now that I have a SYWR offer for DA2, I'm going to just have to take you up on the 4000 Microsoft points offer, as well. If you guys get the Signature Edition as well that will be amazing! I know I'll be at K-Mart at opening on March 8.

I just received a late note from Finance that we are most likely good to for March but need one more meeting. I may have posted prematurely but I do not think we'll have any changes.

DA2 deal is phenomenal with DLC. Disappointed in Crysis, not willing to spend over $80 on a FPS that's better on PC to begin with. 20,000 "sewer" points would be better.
 
DA2 deal is awesome. It could only be made sweeter if it is the preorder Signature Edition.

I have been wanting to get a $50 psn card to buy some PSOne classics.. Might have to get Dragon Age 2 and Crysis 2 now instead of just Crysis 2.

So do you get the 15,000 SYWR points for MLB 11 if you get it free with a 160gb PS3? I'm guessing no, but it's still a good deal either way.

That game, along with some of the other exclusives, is one of the main reasons I'm buying a PS3, so to get it free is a sweet deal.

Actually, yes, you would. Unlike the Killzone 3 Bundle which is separate item. this offer is a bogo so it would apply.

Same here, MvC3 and Pokemon are the reasons I signed up for the card, lol, so here's hoping they can at least match BB and their $10.

I also approve of the Buy 1 Get 1 half off, but since the game is already selling at a lower release price (since they know enough people will gobble it up, and not expect a discount for quite some time, same reason for the lack of pre-order promos, no need for incentive) I'm not sure if that'd be financially sound for K-mart or not.

Haven't played DA 1, so not interested in getting the sequel at launch. However, that Crysis 2 offer looks incredible, but still not sure whether or not I'd pick it up at launch.. hmm.
 
The deals are getting "luke warm" at 15 dollars of points. for the most, and i cant be alone, the price of traveling+ tax means 50 dollars for a game. If newegg or buy.com puts a game for 49.99 with no tax/shipping then its cheaper to me :/
 
Damn dude, keep these deals coming! Ive got $500 stashed away just for these purchases. I want to see how much I can accumulate in SYWR points. Im thinkin a 3DS will be mine for FREE* on launch day!

No Okamiden or Dissidia 012 deals? I know they're smaller titles, but they're the only games I'm interested in spending money on next month.

I don't know if it's realistic to have $20 on every release. Not sure anybody does. I would have gone $20 on DA2, Crysis 2, and Homefront via points, but the SYWR finance team didn't have the appetite for it. Once the coupons come back it will help. Hell, we hit $25 on MvC3 this week and $20 on Bulletstorm and KZ3 next.

Epic yes, Signature no. EA has a pre order only agreement on DA2 Sigs.
 
Damn I wish it was $20 on DA2, but saving $30 on a 4000 point card is insane IMO. So for $70 effectively you get DA2 (or Crysis 2) and $50 to PSN or XBLA...
 
Josh, I think I may have created a problem for myself and wanted to know if you knew how things would turn out. I bought 2 copies of DQVI on Wednesday and didn't get the points. After hearing that the points were now being awarded, I went to a different K-Mart and bought 2 copies there, and did get the 30K points. 2 questions:

1. If I return the first 2 copies I bought, will that also remove the 30K points I got from the second transaction? I would hope not because they're separate transactions on different receipts.

2. I used ShopYourWayRewards points to buy the first 2 copies. If I return them, do those points go back to my account?

You should be able to return them without issue.
 
I didn't want to touch this ever again after it ruined my labor day weekend, but it will be $20 off next week as well.

Blog hitters will be $14.99 on Enslaved, Dead Space 2 $44.99 and Starcraft $39.99.

Probably going to hit Vanquish at $27.99 the following week along with the PS3 version of our Black Ops promotion earlier this month.

Have two questions regarding the DA2 promotion. I take it that the card needs to be in the same purchase as the game. Also can I get the game on PS3 but get the $30 off a 4000 point card? I assume this is possible but I want to make sure.

I am pretty sure that is how it will work, since the PC version of DA2 is part of the promo, and there are no PC point cards.
